I waited around close to the palace, ensuring my appearance was concealed as much as possible. My eyes remained fixed on the palace exit, knowing that Edward would step out, providing the perfect opportunity to ambush him.

After waiting for no less than three hours, I finally saw some men run towards the palace. They were likely delivering information to the king, and I knew that sooner or later, the king would emerge.

Even if Edward didn't come out immediately, I was willing to stay there for as long as necessary. I knew he couldn't stay in the palace forever.

When Edward rushed out of the palace on his horse, I immediately followed behind him, maintaining a good distance to avoid detection.

I noticed him heading towards a deserted area, which presented the perfect scenario for an attack.

I wondered if he was meeting someone in the thick forest, but it didn't matter to me. I was ready to confront him, no matter who he was meeting. I hid in the bushes and watched his movements.
