Chapter 4 : I refuse To Be Fired

I thought that I could actually break away from Eliana's family, but it turn out a luck isn't necessarily mine.

I really do not know my own mistakes so that I deserve to be fired like this.

"Five million dollars will be sent to your bank account. It's instead not much, but you can still use the money to open your own business."

He will no longer be my Assistant though I don't even know his name.

I am really devastated, and if I open some businesses, it will be useless because Eliana will do anything to get me to be her maid again as well.

"Then I'll take my leave!"

The man starts to walk away from me, and I stare at his back from afar.

"Bastard!"

I let out my anger by screaming and he is surprised to stop and turns to look at me.

"We're sorry, Miss Hawisa! We know you may feel like you're not being judged, but this is an order."

"At least tell me where I went wrong before unilaterally firing me!"

Tears flow even though I am still talking.

This whole thing hurts me and I'm really disappointed.

"You haven't done anything wrong, Miss Hawisa!"

"Then why did I get fired, ahh hikkk hikk?"

Really I'm sorry that I can't stop crying.

I even cover my face with both hands.

"This is an important company secret, and I can't tell you."

"I already know it all, just tell me what the company secret is so I can understand!" I really mess up and no longer want to mince words.

"Mr Amon suffers from a prolonged and quite deep trauma. When he touches a woman's skin and body, a panic attack attacks him, and his soul will be shaken. "We beg for forgiveness. In this case, we hired you actually to prevent this from happening and now your task is already complete."

I am surprised to hear the narrative and explanation of this man who pays respect to me

No wonder, Mr. Amon was like a person who really hated me when we first met. And now I understand why.

So, Mr. Amon is actually very anti-women, but why did he suddenly have a panic attack?

"Do you all already know this matter will happen?"

Oh my, I'm speechless and I can't believe it. However, I can't turn back to my past. I won't be back to Eliana anymore. So, I have to make my own decision.

I will die at the hand of Mr Amon and I will not regret choosing this option.

I'm not going to let myself get fired. I don't want to go back to that family again even if I die.

"W–what?" This assistant is probably surprised again by my question.

"I refuse to be fired. I don't want to be fired just because of his personal problems!"

"It's nothing personal, Miss!" The man massages his head, which may be dizzy because of my words.

"I already told him that I'm ready to give my body and soul in front of Mr. Amon. I'm ready to die if indeed, he needs me a woman to torture. I don't care. He should be lucky and be able to continue to employ me. I… during a panic attack Mr. Amon, I will stand in front of him so he doesn't kill himself. I will give up my body for him to torture, even if he beats me to death I will do it as long as he doesn't kill himself. I stand behind the door to hear directly the decision from Mr. Amon.

Indeed, I don't meet him because my assistant forbids me, therefore, I only need to listen to their conversation from a distance.

"Is she all right?" I hear Mr Amon's voice again.

His tone sounds very sad and feel guilty.

"She's… fine, she can even scream angrily, Sir!" My assistant answers the question.

In that room, I have seen five men and I also see a dignified old man, sitting on the sofa. The old man is highly respected by each person there.

"She's mad?! She must really hate me."

"Isn't that right, Sir?"

"Is the bonus still lacking to her?" He must be asking about the five million I get.

How is it possible that with that much money, I feel lacking?

"That's neither not it, sir."

"So?!"

"Miss Hawisa refuses to be fired."

"....."

I don't hear Mr Amon's voice. Maybe he really wants to fire me anyway.

"She said she didn't care if you tortured her because from the start she worked, she had also promised you that she would give her body and soul. Even if she died, she preferred to be beaten so you wouldn't kill yourself!"

"How Interesting, let's see whether she is really heading me without any matter or no."

Not long after that conversation, I am suddenly called into a room that doesn't belong to Mr Amon.

"Miss Hawisa, please come in!" An old man opens the door for me, and as I enter, another old man is standing and greeting me.

"Miss Hawisa, right?"

I stand in front of him and he comes closer to me.

"Yes, Sir. That's right."

"Let's talk on the couch!" He invites me to sit on one of the four sofas in the room with great respect.

I feel uneasy receiving that honor.

"Miss Hawisa, my name is William Antonius Sergio and I am the grandfather of Amon, your boss!"

I am surprised to hear that then I immediately stand up and salute him.

"S–sorry, sir, sorry!"

"Sit down… sit down, take it easy!"

I am stunned and still very hesitant to stay seated.

"Just sit down, Miss!"

But he forces me and I won't refuse him.

"The reason I come to see you is indeed to discuss your work relationship with my grandson."

He, who is already seated, throws out his reasons for inviting me.

"Sorry for forcing myself not to get fired, Sir! However, I really don't mind all of Mr. Amon's unconscious behavior towards me!"

I explain to him so he will understand what I mean.

"I understand and I'm also very grateful for your help."

"No, sir. I am the one who should be grateful because Mr. Amon is willing to accept someone who only graduated from high school to work for him."

I try so hard not to make mistakes so I won't actually get fired, and that must end my new life.

"I've heard that my grandson has been discouraged from firing you. Therefore, I come to you to ask for a favor from you, and if you want, I can give you more than your usual salary."

"I myself am confused about what I will spend my salary on?" I have to explain my situation and condition in life so that one day, I will not be fired again, "To be honest, I just want to keep working with Mr. Amon so that my stepsister's family doesn't dare to attack me again!"

"Then, I want you to stay at Amon's house. Both you and him, you will both feel the same safety, right?"
