Back to Kanna's pov

During my time watching various live stream videos, I never saw a person being naked while streaming. EVEN ONCE. Good thing he got some good packs,LOL.

Since I skipped my first subject today, I have no choice but to attend my second class. The usual boring class. While listening to my prof, I secretly opened a new tab to play some games.

This current year has really given me nothing but stress and a lot of work. I always spend my whole day in my room compared to before when I almost never go home early because of a lot of school work. As I recall those times, no one kept up with my behavior except Noni. My class was full of group of friends, they were always hanging out while I was always alone with noni and Ken. I didn’t even have any chance to go with the girls in my room when it came to “choose your friends” at every group activity. I was always left behind, no one chose me other than Noni. She’s the kind of girl who can act as a social butterfly. Even though he is from a different country, people in my class still talk to him and even try to speak in English.

Most of the time I spend my free times helping my mom with our business. My mom loves baking and she does it almost every day, that’s where I got the interest in baking.

3 hours of boring classes passed by until lunch came. I fixed my study table and closed my laptop. Today, Noni and I decided to meet because it's almost 4 months since we saw each other. I wore my black 002 t-shirt partnered to a white skirt. As I opened the door, I saw Ken wearing a casual clothes. Looks like he's also going somewhere.

"Where are you up to?" I asked while wearing my rubber shoes.

"Noni said that you guys will hangout,"

"Yeah, and so?"

"So I'm coming with you,"

I immediately turned my eyes to him. My jerk brother is just looking at me straight . I crossed my arms.

"Did I gave you the permission to come with me?"

"No,"

"Then what are you saying,"

"Because I will come with you whether you say no,"

This kid is into something. Ken is 2 years younger than me. Compare to me, he is a lot more and popular among girls and boy. He also doesn't talk that much, and that attitude of him is the reason why girls are simping on him. I don't know, but maybe there's really something in my brother. My school mates doesn't even realize that I'm his sister, do I look too different from him?

"Shut up Ken, you will just get bored there and mom is here. Don't tell me you're leaving her?"

"No, princess. I'm fine here, I already finished all the bakings so your brother can go with you now!" Mom said, peaking at me and my brother from the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and just went outside the house together with Ken.

"What's with you? You will still feel bored once you go with us, you know,"

Since Ken is still a minor and I don't know how to drive, we are always forced to commute. My mom can drive for the two of us but today I'm sure she's tired. We have a business, my mom sell those cupcakes online. That's the only source of our income. Sometimes, whenever I am free I always help her in baking or delivering the cupcakes but most of the time she do it alone. When I was a kid and Ken was still a toddler, my mom and dad filed a divorce. Even though it's been 15 years since that happened, I can still remember all of it. I can still remember how I covered Ken's ears with my little hands so that he won't hear it, despite of my trembling.

Maybe it's also better that it happened while Ken was still a toddler and doesn't have a mind because I don't want him to remember all of it as he grow up.

I didn't realize that we are already near the bus station. Compare to before, the bus station isn't crowded because of the pandemic. It is easier to get in and less hassle. I almost jumped when Ken poked my cheek using a cold bottle of soft drinks.

"Why are you spacing out,"

I accepted the drinks and boarded a bus bound for Fairview.

"I am not spacing out,"

He peered at my face while smiling like a fool. I raised my eyebrows and gave him a warning.

"Stop fooling around,Ken. I didn't let you to come with me just to babysit you,"

I chuckled as I saw him getting irritated. He doesn't like it when I treat him like a child.

"Stop treating me like a kid,"

"You are a kid. You're 16!"

"I'm almost 18,"

"After 2 years,"

"I'm turning 17 next month, so I'm close to turning 18!"

I couldn’t stop myself from laughing as I watch my brother getting pissed right now. Finally, now I've got the chance to do a revenge after all the teasing he did to me! I can feel the satisfaction through my vein at the moment.

"Why are you so eager to become an adult,huh. Once you become an adult, you need to decide for yourself. You also need to find job or else people will judge you. There's nothing exciting in being an adult, you know..."

"It's not because of that,"

"Then what?"

His face suddenly turn red. He's also avoiding my eyes and he's smiling. Oh my god, I think I know what's happening.

"Wait... don't tell me--"

"Look!We are here! Let's go sister, time to depart,"He didn't let me speak anymore. He suddenly dragged me outside and I suddenly saw familiar girl running towards us. I looked at Ken once again and looked back at Noni.

"Hey sis,how've you been!!! I missed you so much!" She said as she clung her hands around me.

"What do you mean,we are just talking this morning right!"

"It's different when I see you personally. Because of this pandemic I couldn't hang out with you more huhu,"

"Stop clinging at me or else someone will get jealous," I said as I intentionally pushed my brother to Noni. It's hard to control myself from laughing, this guy is obviously interested to my friend! I can see Ken secretly cursing right now because of what I did. Serves you right, devil.

"I'm so hungry, let's come inside!"

We entered an ordinary restaurant to eat. We have never talked face-to-face for how many months so Noni filled me with so many tea while I'm having my meal.

"By the way Kanna, you already know Groom right? So how was it,"

I ate a slice of my burger first before remembering what I had watched.

"Hmmm, he's weird,"

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"Everything about him is weird! Like why is he hiding his face,"

"That is some part of his strategy to gain viewers of course," Ken replied.

I shrugged.

"And you know what? There have been some rumors spread about Groom before. They said that he's a kind of guy who loves to fuck different girls. I don't even believe that half of this rumors are real," Noni said.

"Then that's a reason not to idolize him,"

I looked sharply at Ken. "When did you learned to judged someone, huh Ken. You don't even know him and as Noni said, those are just rumors,"

"That's true," Noni agreed.

After eating too much, I started to feel the need to pee. I excused myself and went outside the restaurant since there's no comfort room inside. I wandered around for how many minutes before I saw a room at the corner. It seems like it's an empty comfort room so I decided to enter. As I finished my meditation

and was about to went outside, a bad luck suddenly strike me. The door cannot be opened. I'm obviously locked!

"Oh my god, oh my god!"

I started panicking because I couldn't see my phone. How am I even gonna see it if I left it a while ago in our table!

"Hello there?!"

I started slamming the door non stop.

"Is there anyone there? Please help me I'm locked!"

I shouted loudly but the only response that I can hear is my echo.

"Please help! I'm locked!"

Fuck it! Why am I born like this! I didn't noticed any warning side outside and now I am here being captivated inside of small comfort room. The only thing that I can do is to make sounds just for them to hear me but for fuck sake I don't have any strength to shout!

"Please help me!"

"Help me!"

"I am locked here please help!"

"Fuck!!!!"

Because of frustration I kicked the door hard. I suddenly heard a footsteps near me.

"Hello? Is someone inside?"

That was a man's voice.

"Yes,sir! I'm locked!"

I saw the knob moving. Oh thanks God! I thought I'm going to die here. I was so scared,I remembered that one episode from Shake Rattle and Roll!

"Miss, can you move away from the door? I'm going to kick this, you might get hurt," The voice from the other side said.

I moved away from the door.

"Okay, as I count of 3. I will kick this so don't get close!"

"1..."

"2..."

"3..."

After a loud bang, the door is finally open. I saw a guy gasping for breath. A muscular guy.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I finally found myself moving after how many second of shock.

"I'm so sorry for this, I'm the manager of a shop connected to this room,"

"Then why you didn't put any sign outside!"

"Yes, I admit that I forgot to put a barrier. I'm so sorry for this,"

"There's no point in getting angry now. All I want to do is to comeback to my friend,"

Without saying goodbye, I left the guy.

"By the way! Do you need anything for compensation? I'm so sorry again, Miss!"

I didn't looked back. I continued walking as I reached the restaurant. I saw Ken standing out the restaurant with Noni. When they saw me, they instantly went to me to ask many questions.

"What happened to you? Why do you look like that? You're gone for how many minutes! We are worried, I thought you already got lost!" Noni exclaimed.

"Long story, that was a fucked up scene," I took my handkerchief and wiped the dripping sweat off my forehead.

" Miss! I'm so sorry. Are you okay?  I will have anything as compensation," The man said, I didn't noticed that he was following me. I saw the confusion on Noni and my brother's eyes.

"Look, just forget about it. I'm not even mad, you don't have to do anything,"

The guy looked back at me and said sorry over and over again. 

"We are gonna leave now, so please excuse us,"I took the initiative to say goodbye because the two are still not moving. 

"What was that?" Noni asked. I explained to her the whole incident as we went back to the bus station. I don’t know but today I am very tired so we decided go home already.
