Chapter 47 Who saved me ten years ago

Evan’s POV:

“That woman sure is long-winded and annoying!” Grandma said.

To be honest, Grandma had nothing but disdain for a woman like Mia.

When Karl was alive, she had been kind and tolerant to the Walter family, all for the sake of Karl.

However, now that Karl was dead, the Carter family had no relation with Frank and his wife anymore.

Grandma was merely maintaining a good relationship with them for the sake of Karl.

However, Grandma Mia simply had no tact.

“How is Anya?” I asked.

“Anya?” Grandma was stunned.

I frowned. My lips quivered as I muttered, “She was in the accident with me.”

“But I didn’t see her!”

Hearing that, I struggled to sit up and get out of bed.

Seeing this, Grandma quickly stopped me. “You have to lie down. You are still on the IV drip! You have been hurt so badly. Where do you think you are going?”

“I’m going to see her.”

“Don’t move. Let’s just call the nurse over and ask about her!” With that Grandma presses the peeper.

A minute later, a nurse hurried in.
