CHAPTER 56

VALERIE'S POV

With shaky fingers, I reached out for Stephano's phone in his trousers pocket. I quickly scroll through his contacts in his emergency list, looking for any familiar name. My rapid scrolling stopped when I saw the name Fred.

That was Stephano's right hand man so I guess he could be of help. Without wasting any more time, I put him on a call. Luckily he picks up on the first ring.

"Yes Don" was his curt way of greeting as soon as he answered the call.

"This is Valerie, Stephano is- I don't know,- his bleeding seriously-" I choked out, my words jumbled similar to how my mind was at the moment.

"I'll be there" he replied and hung up the call.

I stared at Stephano desperately wanting this to end, to help treat him. But unfortunately for me I had no idea how to stop the bleeding and the only thing I could do was call for help as soon as possible. I didn't bother calling for an ambulance because knowing them I doubt they would have wanted external bodies involved. I
