CHAPTER 19

"Are you going to drive?" I asked Derin as we stepped out of the mansion.

"Nah, I will go with you guys. I plan to drink tonight so I won't be driving" Derin replied.

I took the passenger seat, leaving Derin and Gabe in the back seat. The drive was in complete silence, except from the never ending flirting between Derin and Gabe. It was mostly Derin teasing Gabe and him being all shy.

They are cute.

After we arrived, we entered the already crowded club, filled with dancing bodies and just a few sitting while sipping wine. It had the smell of booze and sweat. It wasn't suffocating though.

"Do you want to dance?" Derin shouted over the loud music.

"Yeah sure," Gabe shouted back.

"You guys go ahead, I'm going to have some drinks first" I replied, not wanting to be a third wheel next to them.

I walked over to the bar corner and took the empty stool next to a young lady. I ordered liquor and took a small sip from my glass, exhaling deeply afterwards.
