VALERIE'S POV

It was already a bit late by the time I returned back. When I entered Stephano's suite, I was surprised to see Stephano laying on the bed already done with his work.

"You have been out for quite a while… what did you do?" he asked curiously.

I could tell it wasn't because he was jealous and thinking I was with a guy all this while, he just looked innocently curious although innocent and Stephano doesn't fit well put together in one sentence.

"I met with Kate," I replied.

"Oh wow, that's surprising," he said.

One moment I'm on Kate's neck and the next I'm bonding with her, that's definitely surprising.
