"I know but he is still your son and he should be paying more attention to you!" she said

I know that she's just trying to get me to spend more time with my mother so that I can spend more time with her.

I am not going to fall for her trap. thankfully my mum was able to see through this or maybe she just didn't want me to take time off my work.
