VALERIE'S POV

Inside was a beautiful necklace, with a delicate chain and a small pendant in the shape of a heart. The pendant was made of diamonds, and it sparkled in the light.

"Oh my god, Stephano, it's beautiful," I said, tears welling up in my eyes. He took the necklace from the box and fastened it around my neck. The pendant rested perfectly against my chest, and I couldn't help but admire it in the mirror.

"Thank you so much," I said, turning to face him. "It's perfect."
