Sheila’s POV

Andrew and I walked down the stairs together, hand in hand as we headed to the dining room.

Mom was waiting for us, already seated at the table with her warm smile. She saw us coming and couldn't help but tease,

“You love birds have finally decided to grace us with your presence. What took you so long?” she asked teasingly.

I smiled and greeted, “Good morning, Mom.”

Andrew raised my hand and brought it to his lips. “I enjoy seeing the face of my lovely wife first thing in the morning before I start my day. Today I couldn't just get enough of her.” Then he turned to Mom, “Good morning, Ma.”

Mom blushed like a schoolgirl when she heard Andrew's romantic response and said to him, “Good morning, dear. You both are really lucky to have each other.”

Andrew pulled out a chair for me, and we sat down. The servants brought out breakfast within a few minutes, and we all starte

Phoebe’s POV"Based on last quarter’s numbers, we can increase production by at least 15%, which will open the door to new markets," Antonio explained. He pointed at the chart in front of him, barely glancing at it. "That’s where we need to focus—expansion in the eastern region. The demand is there."One of the clients, a middle-aged man with graying hair, nodded thoughtfully. “Antonio, if we move forward with the expansion, do you have the infrastructure ready to support it?”“We’re already two steps ahead,” Antonio replied proudly. “The groundwork is being laid as we speak, and within the next month, we'll be at full capacity.”Another client, a younger man, looked intrigued. “And what about competition? We’ve been hearing that others are trying to break into that market.”Antonio smiled, a slight smirk that I had seen countless times. “Let them try. We’ve secured key partnerships, and by the time they get their foot in the do

I don’t have money to take a cab home, I don’t have my phone. How am I supposed to get home?”“That’s your problem,” he replied coldly. “This is your punishment for flirting with a client.”“But I wasn’t!” I exclaimed, frustrated, and pleaded, “Please, Antonio, don’t do this.”He shoved me out of the car, slamming the door shut behind me. The car sped off, leaving me alone on the side of the road.I looked around, feeling utterly lost and confused. *What did I do to deserve this?* Right at that moment, it started to rain.Of course, it did—as if the universe wanted to rub salt into my wound. Antonio’s POV“Drive,” I ordered coldly, leaning back against the seat as the rain began to pour harder. The driver hesitated, glancing back at me through the rearview mirror.I knew what he was thinking. He could see the madness in my eyes—the cold ruthlessness I didn’t even bother to hide.Despite his reluctance, he still obeyed and drove. And as we sped away, I caught a glimpse of Phoebe standing there, drenched, confused, and broken.“Good,” I thought. She needed to feel this.Of course, I knew that she wasn't lying back in the car because I'd watched her all through the meeting. I had long noticed her lack of attention during the meeting and how she had silently, out of impulse, tapped her feet on the ground to show she wanted to be somewhere else but there. The truth was, I deliberately pulled this act because I wanted her to get riled up, to hate me enough until she would become too desperate to get rid of me.Des

Fiona’s POVSomething was wrong. I didn’t know what, but I could feel it deep inside me—the kind of feeling only a mother would have when her child was in trouble.I’d been sitting in the living room, phone in hand, trying to reach Phoebe for the past hour. She hadn’t answered any of my calls, and my instincts were screaming at me to keep trying.Stevenson walked in, looking as indifferent as always. We didn’t exchange words; he barely even looked at me. As he headed upstairs, I called Phoebe again, praying she would finally answer. And then, the line connected.“Phoebe?” I asked, relieved at first. But the voice on the other end wasn’t my daughter’s.“Antonio?” I guessed. “Why do you have Phoebe’s phone? Where is she? Where is my daughter?”There was a pause, and then the words that froze my blood: "Phoebe's been in an accident."The phone slipped from my fingers, and I gave a raw, loud and piercing scream. “What! I kept trying, hoping to leave the void and dark space. When I finally managed to open my eyes, a bright light hit my face, and I winced, squinting against it.Why was it so bright? The light was too harsh, and it hurt to keep my eyes open, but I slowly forced myself to adjust. In the midst of the confusion, I heard a familiar voice—it sounded like my mother's, or so I thought. • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   The real Phoebe

Antonio’s POVStanding by the doorway, I stared at Phoebe, wondering what exactly she was up to. Her eyes were locked on mine. She looked so calm that I couldn't decipher what was going on in her mind. The silence between us stretched on, thick and tense, but neither of us spoke. I was waiting for her to say something—anything—that would break this atmosphere. Finally, she did."Was it you?" she asked softly. "Were you the one who brought me to the hospital?"I kept my eyes fixed on her, trying to gauge her expression. Slowly, I nodded. "Yes."Phoebe’s lips curled into a faint smile, and she muttered, "Thank you."Thank you? Did she just say ‘thank you’ to me?That was when I knew something was really off. This wasn’t the reaction I had expected. I had expected her to yell, to tell her family I was responsible for the accident. Hell, I wouldn’t have been surprised if she cursed me out right there in front of eve

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Signs of Hope

Andrew's POVI sat across from James in my office, trying to keep my impatience in check as he filled me in on his latest findings. My fingers tapped on the desk while I waited for him to get to the part I actually cared about—the culprit behind the death of the nurse who had attended to Sheila’s mother.“We were so close to catching him,” James continued. “But the guy’s smart. As soon as he noticed we were onto him, he went into hiding.”I felt a flare of frustration but tried to maintain my composure, not wanting to lash out at James. “So, he’s still out there? If he's smart, you should be smarter, James.”James gave a reassuring nod. “Don’t worry, Andrew. Sooner or later, he’ll make a mistake, and when he does, we’ll have him.”I wanted to ask why we had to wait for the culprit to make a mistake. What if he didn’t?But just then, James leaned forward and slid a tablet across the table, tapping on the screen. “Here. This is som

Sheila’s POVI sat on the edge of the bed, still stunned by what I had just overheard on the phone right now.“Andrew, Evelyn’s inside,” I heard a male voice say.Which Evelyn? The Evelyn? But Evelyn was dead. I tried calling Andrew back immediately, but his phone was off. I sat there, staring at the screen for a long time, confused.Maybe I didn’t hear it right, or maybe it was a different Evelyn. Yeah, that must be it. It had to be. After all, different people could bear the same name.I shook my head, trying to clear the thought, and finally waved it off. It was late, and I needed to sleep. I had called Andrew, due to Mom's persuasion, to know if he would be coming back for dinner, but I highly doubted he would be coming back tonight. With that, I turned off my bedside lamp and slipped under the covers to sleep. The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed. After washing my face and mouth, I headed downstairs to grab

Sheila's POVI was in my room with Mom, carefully organizing the clothes Granny had recently bought for me. There were so many that I wondered when I would have the chance to wear them all. I kept telling her I had enough, but my sweet Granny wouldn't hear of it. "Sheila," Mom began, her voice gentle yet curious, "I've noticed Andrew dropping you off quite often lately. Are you two back together?" A warm blush immediately crept up my cheeks. I paused, folding a shirt, and then replied, "We're just taking things slowly, Mom. One step at a time." She looked at me with a knowing smile, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "I see," she said, her tone teasing. "Well, if you're really sure about giving Andrew another chance, then I give you my blessings." I felt a surge of happiness and gratitude. I walked over to her, enveloping her in a tight hug. "Thank you, Mom. You've always stood by me, and I can't express how much that means to me." She pulled back slightly, holding my hands i

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife    The Fight Had Just Begun

Andrew's POVA few weeks had passed since the chaos surrounding Therese and everything else had settled. Alfred was back to work after being suspended for weeks without pay, and things with Sheila had been going progressively smoothly. I had been buried in work, the weight of the business constantly hanging over my head. As I sat in my office, typing away on my laptop, a sharp knock on the door interrupted my concentration. Before I could respond, the door swung open, and my parents entered. My secretary rushed in after them, looking flustered. It was obvious she had tried to stop them, but they were having none of it. "Andrew," my father called out, his tone already tinged with annoyance. My mother followed behind him, her expression unreadable but no less intense. My secretary stepped into my office and began to explain. "I... I apologize, Mr. Walker. They insisted on seeing you immediately," she said nervously. "They refused to wait for me to inform you before they barged i

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Second Chance

Sheila's POVAs the plane touched down in the city, I felt a sense of relief mixed with anxiety. We were finally back, but the weight of everything that had happened still loomed over me. As soon as the plane’s door opened, the cold rush of air hit us, and I could see the flashing lights of police cars waiting on the tarmac. They were already here, prepared for whatever would unfold next. As we began to step off the plane, the sound of raised voices reached us. Turning around, I saw Andrew's guards holding Anna back, their grip firm as she struggled against them. "Please, I just need to talk to her!" Anna cried out desperately, her voice trembling. "I promise I don't mean any harm!"Andrew’s expression darkened as he stepped forward. “Take her away,” he ordered, his tone cold and unyielding. “I don’t want to see her again.” “No! Please, Mistress, just a moment! I need to say something to you,” Anna pleaded, her voice growing louder. Her tear-filled eyes met mine, and the despe

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   A Moment of Surrender

Sheila's POVI didn’t know where Andrew was taking me, but I could see how furious and upset he was. His mood was dark, and I could feel the weight of his emotions without him saying a word to me. I didn’t even ask. There was something about him that made me want to follow quietly, unsure how I was going to calm him down, and not wanting to make his mood worse. He led me to a secluded part of the plane, a small, well-decorated room that looked almost like a personal cabin. Before I could ask any questions, Andrew shut the door behind us. His eyes, filled with a storm of emotions, met mine for a brief moment before he suddenly pulled me into his arms. I froze, caught off guard by the suddenness of his embrace. He pressed his head against my shoulder, holding me tightly as though trying to find some comfort. We stood there for a few seconds, both unsure of what to do. Hesitantly, I began to pat his back, uncertain of how to respond. “They turned against me! I trusted them so muc

  • Becoming The Billionaire's Fake Wife   Therese 2

Andrew’s POV I was trying so hard to understand what I had just heard. Anna, the woman who had served me so faithfully all these years, had been hiding something this massive from me. How could Therese be Anna's daughter? I stared at her, disbelief flooding my veins. I hadn’t known Anna had a child, let alone one who was working in my mansion under false pretenses. “What’s going on, Anna?” I asked, my voice thick with anger and confusion. “How is it possible that your daughter has been working here without my knowledge?” Anna’s face twisted with a mix of guilt and fear, tears welling up in her eyes. She had never been one to break down easily, but this time, it was different. “She’s not really my daughter, Master,” Anna explained shakily, her voice quivering. “She’s my late twin sister’s child… I raised her as my own after my sister passed away. I’ve done everything I could to give her a good life, everything. I sent money whenever I could, supported her when she needed it. I

Andrew's POV“Double-check everything,” I instructed the housekeeper over the phone. “The villa needs to be ready when we arrive, and I want the staff there briefed. No room for error.” “Yes, Sir. Everything is confirmed,” the voice on the other end said. “Good,” I replied with a nod before hanging up. It had taken a lot of effort to organize this, but I knew it would definitely be worth it. I turned to Alfred. “Are the movement schedules finalized? And the cars we'll be using once we land?” He nodded. “Yes, Master. Everything has been arranged as per your instructions. Everything has been confirmed.” “Excellent,” I replied, leaning slightly against the window frame. I allowed myself a small smile, one of satisfaction. The truth was, I knew Sheila wouldn’t have come willingly if I had asked her outright. She would’ve found an excuse, some way to evade me. That’s why I had to take matters into my own hands. It wasn’t ideal, but it was necessary. Alfred tilted his head, ob
