ARABELLA POV

That nurse was not the culprit. I knew this deep within me. There was no way Susan would have pulled it off with Mia. She was too nice, too cool, too morale to do that. How had they pinned it on her just because another nurse said she was the one? To me, that particular nurse was the prime suspect. Jack had done his best, really, but it was only so much he could take. I could see the exhaustion in his eyes; he probably wanted to be home and done with all this bullshit.

“Dr. Emma, can you hear us?”

My attention reverted to Rhys. We were standing in front of the hospital once again, the townsfolk and the people gathered to hear us out.
