Becky was fourteen years when her mom demised, and her stepmom named and known as Mrs. Martin took up her responsibilities because her biological mom was an orphan before she got married to Becky's father,

The stepmom always maltreated and used abusive words on her, she always referred to her as a bastard child from an orphan woman,

Becky's father deceased when she was nineteen, and a few months later, Becky's stepmom saw her from afar coming from school and saw her grown into a beautiful girl, even more than her daughter, and she said, "hmm, If this girl remains In this house, my daughter won't be able to get married on time, I have to do something" said, Mrs. Martin, she was on the balcony thinking and at the same time saying everything out of her mind when watching Becky coming with her luggage from the school, and that was Becky's first year In the University,

When Becky arrived home, she was loaded with all the house chores while her daughter was roaming around the house, and In the evening when they cook dinner, she was not given food, and slept on an empty stomach, the third day of her arrival from school, her stepmom's daughter named Flora fought with Becky, and she was sent out of the house, and she said she doesn't want to see her anywhere close to the house, and she was not allowed to take her things from the house,

Becky doesn't know any family related to her late parents, but, she has a friend named Frank, and Becky trecks down to her friend's house, and It took her almost an hour before she got to her friend's house, and she explained to Frank, "your stepmom Is such a wicked woman" Frank said, "how could a woman could be so wicked and sent you out of your father's house?" he said, "don't worry, I will explain to my parents" he said, "come with me" and two of them walked Into the living room where Frank's parents were watching a program on the television, and he Introduced Becky to his parents, "mom, dad, this Is Becky, my friend" Frank said,

"How are you, and how are your parents?" Frank's mom asked, and Instead of Becky retorting to the question, she burst Into tears, and Frank's mom asked, "what's the problem, why Is she sobbing?"

"she lost her parents, and her stepmom sent her out of her father's house, and her stepmom said, she doesn't want to see her anywhere close to the house, and I'm afraid, such a woman can do and undo" Frank explained,

"how do we help her?" Frank's mom asked,

"I'm thinking of allowing her to stay here till she will return to school" Frank retorted,

"Can she stay In your room?" Frank's mom asked,

"No mom" Frank retorted,

"Why," his father asked,

"I have many friends that always come to my room, and I don't want any of my friends to embarrass her" Frank explained, and he smiles,

"I got it, son," his father said, and smiled, and he asked, "my love, what did you see to the stories that your son brought home?"

"We don't have any options than to accommodate her," his mom said,

"Let him prepare the small room beside the store for her, at least she can still manage the room for a while," his father said,

Frank did according to his father's Instructions, he lead Becky to the room, and she was happy to have shelter,

Becky woke up early the next day, and she cleans the environment, and all the rest room and the kitchen were not left out, and Frank's mom woke up, she saw everywhere cleaned and she asked, "did the janitor come today?"

"No mom, Becky cleaned everywhere" Frank retorted,

"She's a good girl, she was well trained," she said, "where Is she?" Frank's mom asked,

"I think she's In her room" Frank retorted, "do you want to see her?" he asked,

"Not at all, let her be," his mom asked,

When Becky heard the footsteps of the woman, Becky came out of her room, and said, "good morning ma"

"good morning" Frank's mom retorted, "how was your night?" she asked,

"I slept well ma" Becky retorted, "do you need my assistance In the kitchen?" she asked,

"Not really" Frank's mom retorted, and she walked Into the kitchen while Becky followed her Immediately, and she asked, "how may I help you In the kitchen?"

"I just want to prepare breakfast for all of us," Frank's mom said,

"Just tell me," Becky said, "what type of breakfast do you want to prepare?" she asked,

"Do you know how to cook?" Frank's mom asked,

"Yes, I can cook all sorts of dishes" Becky retorted, "just tell me what I need to do," she said,

"Okay, let me see what you can do," Frank's mom said, and she gave her the descriptions of the type of dishes both breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Becky prepared both the breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the description, and Frank's mom commended her, and said, "Becky, as from today, you will be the chef In our kitchen, but, leave the cleaning of the surroundings for the janitor, she comes twice In a week," she said, and smiles, while Frank's father was listening to his wife order she gave Becky,

"Thank you ma, your wish Is my command," Becky said, and she smiles,

Becky always helps Frank's parents for six weeks, and when she wanted to return to school, Frank told his parents, and Frank's parents gave her some money, and Frank gave her some money, and she walked her down to the bus station where she boarded a bus going to the University of Texas campus, but when she arrives at the campus, she doesn't have money to pay for an accommodation In the campus, but, one of the school lecturers name professor Daniels offered her a room In his house, and she was happy to accept the offer, and she moves In, unknown that the lecturer was married but no kids, and they have been married for years, and the professor Introduce Becky to his wife as one of his students, and she needs our help" he said,

"How do you mean?" his wife named Stella asked,

"She doesn't have money to pay for accommodation In the campus, and again, she's an orphan," the professor said,

"We would have adopted her, but she's too big for adoption," Stella said,

"Let's help her, maybe she can restore joy and happiness In our home," the professor said,

"You are right, but we need to be careful In doing things, no rush," Stella said, tears dripping down from her eyes,

Becky didn't take anything seriously until the lecturer approach her for a favor of giving her a child and promised to pay her, Becky declined, and the lecturer threaten her, "Becky, your results are at stake If you refused to do me the favor I ask, forget about your positive results" the lecturer said,

"I will explain to your wife," Becky said,

"If you dare me, consider yourself dead," the lecturer said,

Becky was afraid, she couldn't go home, she sat in Infront of the library thinking and sobbing, and most of the girls were coming to give her nasty advice, and many boys are coming to her with an offer that could render her useless In life, but she continues sobbing, and when the lecturer was going home, he saw her Infront of the library sobbing, and he stopped and parked his car, and he came out of his car and walked towards her, and asked, "why are you not going home?" Why are you sitting down here alone" the professor asked, "you don't understand this school, and you don't know who Is who, If you fall a victim of cultists members or gangsters, you will know how far," he said,

Becky was scared of the cultist and gangsters he mentioned, and she stood up and followed him, and he drives to the mall, the professor bought different types of wears for her, and he gave her all the shopping bags, and he asked, "do you need anything?"

"Am fine, and I appreciate all that you gifted me, but It doesn't mean that we are cool In any aspect" Becky said,

"I wouldn't mind waiting until you're ready to give me a child," the professor said,

"In your dreams," Becky said,

"Becky sweet baby, have mercy on me, let me be a father," the professor said,

"Why me, after all, there are many students In this school," Becky asked,

"I want to have beautiful kids like you, and the feelings and the emotions are Incomparable" the professor retorted,

"why tormenting me with your problems," Becky asked,

The professor drives Into his compound and parks his car, and both of them came out of the car, and they walked Into the living room, meanwhile, the professor's wife was not at home she was on morning duty because she was a nurse In one of the public hospitals,

Becky walked Into her room, while the professor was in the living room watching television,

Six weeks later, Becky's money got finished, and she called her friend Frank, and he sent some money to her, but the money was not enough, and she needs more money to pay for her school project, so she went to meet the professor,
