"Beauty Acuesta is next," the director on stage reminded Bobita, and Bobita gave his approval and signaled back at me. I smiled, feeling tense before Bobita went off stage.

Irene Celeste looked at me for the final time, surveying my whole without eye contact. She's too focused on her job, and I'm too nervous about this. It's not like it's my first time because it's not. But this is my first time performing in front of a large crowd.

"Go, Beauty. You're the face of Monde Fashion. Show them that you got what it takes to be the next supermodel. Show them that Drew Mondragon was right to have chosen you." Irene simply smiled at me.

My heart started to race. I nodded, giving her my genuine smile.
