Chapter 28. First Date

Beauty's POV

We roamed around the town and tasted different vendor foods on display. We tried the Sushi's on Sushi no Midori. It was good, and I ate a lot. Afterward, we walked around again, adoring each display, and trying different varieties of their delicacies.

Drew is not fussy when it comes to this. I thought he would, but to my surprise, he can blend in well, even with the lowest living organism around.

"Here, have this," he offered.

I open my mouth as he feeds me the food by hand.

"Hmm, this is good. Have you tried takuyaki balls?" I smiled while chewing. I felt the sauce on the side of my mouth and was about to lick it. But Drew was quick to wipe it for me using his hand.

"Yes. It was my favorite when I was in secondary school. There was an authentic Japanese stall in front of the university, which was always busy during peak hours. The chief happens to be my buddy. She always packed a decent lunch for me." He winked wickedly.
