Chapter 14. Permission

Beauty's POV

Bobita nearly fainted the moment Drew and his friend evaporated the place. I could still feel my heart beating so loud that it nearly deafened my senses. My knees are still shaking.

"Oh my goodness! That was crazy, Beauty." Bobita hugged me.

I thought he embraced me for something, but the heck! The feminine side of Bobita emerged as he sniffed Drew's coat on me like a canine investigating a scent.

"Oh God! Mr. Drew James Mondragon's coat smells so good. I want to kiss and eat him." He rested his face on my shoulder, rubbing the coat's arm on his face. I twisted my lips and shook my head.

"Stop it. Let's go." I grabbed Bobita's hand and pulled his body out alongside me. I can't wait to go back to my desk. I'm pretty sure I have loads of work to do by now.

By the time I entered the office and saw that there was nothing on my desk, I felt relief. I thought I would become a zombie tonight because of work. Thank goodness it's not.
