Chapter Two

Sage's POV

“Aaahhh, so life is this perfect,” I exhaled, sinking deeper into the warm, fragrant bath, a smile of satisfaction spreading across my face as I looked down at the glowing city from my penthouse.

I have not been this free and satisfied since before I met Theodore. I didn't care what he was doing right now, but I knew he should be welcomed by his cellmates by now, and whoever that Emily bitch was can drop dead.

“Boss, you have a lot of paperwork to attend to.” I heard Violet's voice from the other side of the door.

“Do you ever talk about anything but work, Violet?” I pouted, shaking the glass wine in my hand gently, not peeling my gaze from the dark city filled with dots of lights beneath me.

“No, I don't, Boss.” She replied bluntly, and I just wanted to stuff her with alcohol, but I knew I was going to regret it. She was a very light drinker, and her drunken state wasn't the one I could deal with on a daily basis.

“I am going down to the club to take a drink.” I said, stepping out of the bathtub with a bright smile. I was going to dance myself off to paradise in joy. I could almost say I've forgotten what it felt like to be free.

“It is a sex club, boss. You'll see a lot of irritating things there.” Violet said as I stepped out of the bathroom.

“Maybe I can find a 6’4 guy with an interesting body I can spend the night with or even take me as his sugar baby.” She winked at her, not expecting her cold and expressionless face to change, and I wasn't disappointed as she just stared at me like I was squabbling nonsense.

But it was true that the club was far worse than any other clubs out there, but considering someone like me who had a wild life before marriage, it wasn't something surprising for me since I thrived more in naughty places.

I walked down into the dimly lit club with a bright smile. My short dress clung tightly to my body, exposing most of it, but it wasn't like I cared. The only reason I was always covered during the day was due to the nature of my work, and I've gotten a lot of leaked pictures out so many times that it was no longer something surprising.

I walked towards the bar to get my drink, and as I walked past, I could hear the moans of ladies already entertaining their men without the shame of doing it outdoors.

Outdoor sex was thrilling, and I just wanted to try it at least once, but I wasn't ready for that kind of scandal yet.

“Sage, is that you?” The barman called with a bright smile on his face. “You had a fight with hubby to be here after three years?”

“No, I divorced him. He's trash.” I tutted as I watched him make my order.

“I never expected you to stick with someone who isn't wild like you are for long. Don't get me wrong though.” I wanted to laugh at his comment, but it was true. I was just infatuated with him at first, but after a while, he didn't even seem like my type anymore. Or he wasn't my type anymore.

“You run your mouth a lot, don't you, Adrian.” I tutted while taking my glass from him and sliding him my credit card. “Take as much as you want for your tip. You can even get a house with it.”

“You joke a lot, Sage, but thanks for the offer.”

No longer paying attention to him, my eyes scanned the entire club in one go, and I could see the messy sight of sex, whose scent was only being drowned out by cigarettes and alcohol, but the stench of cum was still strong in the air.

“Good old days.” I sighed. “Days when I used to be in my prime.”

“You're barely 26, Sage. Live your life a little,” Adrian said. “You don't get to live twice.”

He didn't have to lecture me about that, but I pretty much knew already that was the absolute truth. “Maybe you should stop being a virgin too, for a start.” I winked, and I could see him blush at the mention of that, making me laugh. “Haha, just as cute as always.”

My eyes left him and then fell on a man seated not far from the corner. He was seated alone with a glass of whiskey in his hands and his eyes settling on mine for a brief second before looking away towards those having sex near him.

He looked dang hot with his shoulder-length hair and his handsome face, but I could tell he was about two decades older than I am, but I didn't mind. “Who's that man?” I asked Adrian, who looked in the direction I was talking about, and the man was already standing from his seat, heading towards the restroom.

“He’s one of our recent regulars. He only comes to drink and leaves after a while, but he seems to be staying for a while today.” He said, turning back to the lady he was attending to, who was obviously trying to flirt with him, but that hot man was still on my mind.

I had to have fun with a much older man, even if it's just once. Theodore was just a year older than I was, and he wasn't even satisfactory in bed at all. I don't even want to talk about it.

I slipped out of my seat with a small gesture to Adrian before heading towards the bathroom, where I had seen him slip into gently. He looked like a calm man, and I doubt the fact that mere seduction would work on him, but I could also be wrong about that. But I had to shoot my shot no matter what.

A restroom was a weird place to seduce one, you can tell me, but who cares? Just let's get a taste of it. My hand reached for the doorknob and twisted it open before sliding in, shutting the door behind me.

I halted at the sight of the handsome, dark-haired, shoulder-length-haired guy with a height of about 6’4 ft. His face was sweaty and his hair glued to his face, making him hot, but that wasn't what I was viewing. His huge, erect, and veiny member was in his hand.

He had his side to me while facing the mirror, and he looked damn hot as he relieved himself. His moans filled the air, making even me aroused. I was here to seduce him, but I didn't expect him to be in the mood for this already. It made me want to jump on him and devour him even more.

“Yes! Fuck!” His words came out low through his moans as he stroked his lengthy and veiny dick faster and harder with his eyes still closed, like he was savoring the sweet pleasure, which I knew he was.

I stood there, my arms folded across my chest, as I watched him while licking my lips slightly. He suddenly opened his eyes, and from the mirror, I could see him stare at me.

“Fuck!” His deep baritone resounded in the room as his eyes moved directly to me. I could see his face red with embarrassment, like a child who had been caught in a bad act. What a cut little boy!

“No need to stop; you looked hot just now.” I said, my voice coming out lower than intended.

I followed his gaze as it roamed through my body, finally settling on my chest, and his cock suddenly grew harder.

“Looks like you want me.”

From that, I could measure out our height difference nicely, as he was much taller than my petite self, reaching just his chest. His cologne was a mixture of ocean scent and rain scent, and I just wanted to drown in it as I sat on the sink, looking up at his flustered face while pulling off my shoes. “I didn't expect you to be the shy type, but now you're totally even more of my type.” I said, grabbing his rock-hard cock with my legs, making him throw his head back, trying to stiffle a moan. He was trying hard to keep in, but as my feet moved up and down, rubbing him together, he let out a groan. “Fuck… I want your mouth,” his deep baritone made my stomach tingle, and a smirk appeared on my face as I got off, kneeling before him while looking up at him. His face immediately flushed as I stared up at him naughtily, grabbing his cock, and a soft gasp escaped his lips.

I met Violet's suspicious gaze, and she held the tab beside her waist before clearing her throat. "Mr Ivanova?" "Come on, Violet, there's nothing between me and Diego." He smiled for a minute and offered a solution. “What solution?” I asked. “I thought you wanted a solution to all this” he smiled. He smiled again! I wanted to rip and tear his lips all apart but he was willing to provide a solution, as he claimed. “We just have to play our cards right Sage, this rumor and picture can not help us out of this dilemma we are in already” he said. “What do you mean by playing along Diego, this already ruined part of my business and it's frustrating me” I responded. “Just calm

I hated to admit it but he smelt divine. Yet, after all that, he chose to piss me off. He just asked me to marry him with a straight face. I scoffed, the man was fucking delusional. Just because he could call my pussy gold and get away with it didn't mean he could push his luck. "Whoever has spread these rumors must've found something amiss about you and your husband and chose to make this up even though it's not entirely made up. Chapter 119Sage's POVDiego carried me to the restroom attached to my ward, and the moment he set me down, his lips crashed on mine, capturing them in a slow, sensual kiss that set shivers running through my body. My breath hitched as the warmth of his touch spread through my body, igniting my entire system.I sighed into his mouth, moving my lips desperately to match his pace. It was a rough and passionate kiss, different from the one we shared moments ago. His hands moved to the small of my back, rubbing his thumb in circles, and slowly, he pulled the knot that held the dress as a piece. I melted against him, moaning in pleasure, everything forgotten as that moment, it was just him and I.We broke from the kiss, both breathless but our bodies were ignited with the primal desire for each other. Diego stared deeply at me, his eyes holding a glint of dark desire as he rid my body of the hospital gown. He dipped his head, and kissed my shoulder blade, trailing up to my neck and chin.

Who was he talking about that made him so angry? Kian looked equally agitated, I could see that with the way his shoulders tensed. What were they talking about?"Diego," I called out almost gagging as the scent of hospital seeped into my system, filling my lungs. Hope that she had fought Theodore. I had heard it when she gasped out his name. How had he gotten inside? How did he breach all that security I placed around her house?I clenched my jaws and my grip tightened on the wheel as a thought hit me. Could one of my men have betrayed me? I cursed under my breath, punching the steering wheel like it were his face. They could break the strongest of men with the cruel way they tortured. Chapter 112Sage's POVI spent the rest of the afternoon binging a series I found on TV. After the call with my father, I felt less suffocated and in need of alcohol, so the brandy had been set aside and replaced with four big bags of chips and yogurt.I meant to ditch the brandy after the second glass before the call anyway; that stuff was damn bitter. It made me wonder how Diego managed to drink it.‘Thinking about him again?’ The voice in my head treacherously snarked and I scrunched my face. The thought of him has been crossing my mind sparsely whenever a commercial came up and I was back to seriously feasting on my chips.I found it quite infuriating as I had decided to end things. Thinking about him – his hot and ripped body, lips, hands – everything, would just stick with me then. It was a great deal and it was fun while it lasted. However, despite my decision, I couldn't help the subtle tug in my chest that made me wince occasionally. Coming to that conclusion had been heart-w

It was weird as I had left here earlier without a care. Other than that, I have been staying here alone for days, but now, it almost felt like someone was inside the room with me, watching my move, which was quite disturbing.I walked over to the window, and my brows creased when I saw the guards on duty; they all seemed watchful and on alert. I doubt someone could pass them without getting noticed. I was probably being paranoid.Sighing, I returned to the living room, dropped my bag on the chair I kicked off my flats, and padded across the room to the small cellar situated next to the kitchen area.
