Regan glanced at her phone screen a few times, confirming a report from her two men struggling to get more information than the informant had provided earlier.

He was honestly worried that Rion and Ivone were having problems, considering they didn't get along well. He feared his decision was wrong to make them a team working on a critical mission.

Dipta, who had been watching his boss, immediately approached, poured a cup of Regan's favorite tea, and served some of the cakes that Marie had made earlier.

"Your tea, sir," he said, breaking his reverie. "Sorry to disturb you."

"A-ah, it's fine." He reached for the cup and took a small sip of his tea. "Your tea brewing skills are getting increasingly impressive, Dipta," he complimented.

That touched Dipta. After all, Regan was not someone who quickly praised someone, especially for doing something trivial. Getting a compliment from him was something extraordinary.
