CHAPTER 139

The sun's rays soared high, even its rays penetrate through the gaps in the curtains blown by the wind. Fisya opened her eyes slowly, she saw Regan still fast asleep beside her.

There was a tired look on his face, all of that was obvious even though Regan had always kept it hidden from her. Sometimes she heard him delirious like someone sobbing, or sounded like someone moaning in pain. Her heart ached every time she heard that, she felt guilty for making her husband struggle alone and she couldn't do anything but wait for him and accompany him.

She rubbed Regan's cheek, without feeling her tears falling, as if she didn't realize that Regan could have woken up and seen her sad. She had promised her husband to stay strong and be patient, so she decided to quickly wipe away her tears.
