"Can't you stay with me for two more minutes?" Mercer's voice carried a note of pleading.

Calla couldn't bear to refuse and generously agreed. "Alright, I'll leave in two minutes."

Mercer gazed at the vibrant hues of the setting sun. He broke the momentary silence, saying, "Sophie has been discharged. I've already booked her a flight to Morvenia in three days. Soon, I'll take care of everything and return to you!"
