Chapter thirty nine

“Help me! I’m right here!” I screamed while Dave and his friends continued to try hard to silence me. I wouldn’t let them assault me so easily.

I kicked one of them hard in the crotch and got up, trying my very best to escape even with my injured foot and I had gotten out when I fell into someone’s hands.

I smiled to myself, it has to be the very person who wanted to know who was in.

“Thank you!” I muttered and before I could fully raise my face, I recieved a slap across the face and I fell to the ground immediately the slap came to my face.

Holding on to my face, I raised my head as I stared in shock at the man who I thought had come to save me but slapped me instead.

He chuckled and I turned to see Dave walking towards us. I got up and made to go for a run when he dragged me by the wrist again, stopping me.

“Long time Jamie, it’s been a while!” Dave greeted as he shook hands with the man who’d just slapped me.
