Adrian's POV

While the party is going on inside, I feel a strange scent as I've ever felt before. I remember that I felt this strange scent when I first discovered Alessia as my mate but it wasn't as sensational as this. This scent has a difference in such a way that each second of sensing it drags my wolf along. I'm not purposely intending to check it out, it's just that I'm being pulled towards it.

I walk out of the hall using the secret entrance which is by the side in the inner room, this to avoid attention as most people would think I'm going in to meet with the organizers of the event. Once outside, the cold breeze of the night's hair soothes me, though the rest of the environs are lighted, this part since it has to do with secret passage isn't being lighted. I like it this way.
