We must complete the mating process

The morning sun rays strike across Sandra’s ward coming from the window waking up Jake. This was the second day since she has been unconscious and with Jake by her side. The fact that she was not waking up had Jake worried that something must be wrong with her.

But the doctor kept telling him that her body needed time to heal and when she is ready, she will wake up. Jake stopped talking about Melanie in her presence, he would take calls from Eric outside when he is giving him an update about the search.

Jake stood up and stretched his limbs then looked at his mate. Her color was returning, and she looked more alive than how pale she was the previous days. She looked so beautiful and peaceful as she slept.

Jake swore right there that when she is discharged from the hospital, he is taking her back to the packhouse with him. He wanted her close so that he can be able to protect her, he could not bear to see her hurt again. He went to take his seat by her side
