Chapter 316: A gift?

"Little girl, I'll be back soon," John said with a hint of playfulness.

John extended his hand and gently ruffled her hair.

It was supposed to be just a brief business trip. However, he found himself strangely reluctant to part with her. Every passing moment, he couldn't bear the thought of her leaving his sight.

What should he do?

He wished he could package her up and take her with him, keeping her by his side forever...

"Oh, by the way, I've prepared this for you," Diana said, bending down and handing him a small box she had brought with her.

"This is?"

"It's a gift for you," she grinned mischievously. "If you ever miss me, just open it up and take a look. Hehe~" Diana looked very pleased with herself. "Wait until you're there to unpack it, okay?"

John chuckled at her mysterious demeanor. "Alright."

He accepted the box and passed it over to Jackson behind him. Then, he bent down and planted a soft kiss on her
