Chapter 104 Not Her Choice

(Akira’s POV)

I did not know how long I have been sleeping. My head throbbed in pain and my eyelids were heavy to open. Where was I?

I swallowed my saliva for feeling such dryness in my throat. Groaning in pain, I tried to move my body that was aching all over.

“Akira, can you hear me?”

“C-Charles? Where am I?” my voice croaked, finding it hard to talk.

I felt his hand comforting my shoulders that moved to caress my cheeks, “You are safe now. In a hospital and cared for”

I blinked my eyes slowly to open, and saw his charming looking smile at me. He held my hand as I asked him more questions, “Charles, where is my grandpa? How long have I been here? Why do I feel so much pain?”

He moved to press a button to call for some help. “I’m calling the Doctor to check on you. Everything is going to be fine, my love. You need to rest”
