"Hi there," Elara let out and then cleared her throat. Her voice had come out a bit more high-pitched than she had thought it would. Micah squeezed the phone in his hand angrily; his mind could not help but run with ideas as he wondered who it was that had picked up Elara's phone. He had not been sure up until now if he wanted to pursue Elara like his mom said, but somehow the idea of her being with another man sent anger through his body. He had thought somehow that she would end up alone, and he did not know why he thought that.Elara being out with a man at this time meant that she had moved on easily. Noelle stood in front of Ronan's door. The memories of everything that happened yesterday flooded her mind. She spent the entire night tossing and turning and when her alarm went off this morning she was very close to calling in sick. The thought quickly left her mind when the possibility of him showing up in her neighborhood to check on her taunted her. She did not need Felix to see him there, she knew he was always watching her somehow and Ronan showing up at her doorstep was not good news for them both.
