PROLOGUE

Andy was able to catch Jeanne's hand and stopped her from running. Uncomfortable with Andy's action, Jeanne quickly pulled her hand from Andy's grip.  However, Andy used his strength and that made Jeanne struggle to let go of her hand.

“Let go of me, please,” begged Jeanne when she saw the eyes surrounding her, focused on them. She was embarrassed.

“Okay, but follow me,” ordered Andy.

He knew that he did not go stern on Jeanne, she would keep running away from him.

Andy dragged Jeanne behind the building, far from everyone's eyes. Right at that time, Jeanne pulled her hand hard from Andy's hand. Her face was reddish, a sign of mountainous madness towards Andy's action.

“I'm sorry for my actions just now. Just that, I don't know how to confront you anymore. Did you feel hurt anywhere?” Asked Andy while trying to catch Jeanne's hand and rubbed it gently.

Jeanne was quicker to hide her hands.

“Why did you come here? Please leave me alone!” Shouted Jeanne while crying. Andy's actions towards her are unbearable anymore. She was unable to go home because he kept coming. And now, he also comes to the office? Oh, God...

“Please, Jeanne. I really want to come clean with you. Please please please, let me compensate for my mistake. Let me take care of you. Let me be the father of the baby,” begged Andy.

“Take care of me? What about the drama right in front of my eyes just now?” Questioned Jeanne with raised brows.

'Take care of me, my ass. Even your relationship with Sara remained unsettled,' whispered Jeanne in her heart.

“We are over, We were over! Just that Sara doesn't seem to cope with it well. Even my past relationship with Sara is a mistake. You know it well, Jeanne.  Please Jeanne, I sincerely want us to start over,” Andy continued to beg.

Jeanne remained silent.

“I have rights towards the baby, Jeanne,” continued Andy.

Jeanne laughed hypocritically with tears still in her eyes.

“Rights? Huh yeah, rights! Then what about my rights when you rape me?” Shouted Jeanne.

Andy bowed his head that was directly looking into Jeanne's eyes all this while. He knew he was at fault. Jeanne's sentence froze him.

Jeanne just walked away from Andy, leaving Andy behind. She wiped the tears while walking towards her team. Sara, from afar seemed bothered with Andy and Jeanne's actions, but she could not hear a thing from their conversation.

“Driver's here. Let's go!” Shouted Dita cheerfully, tried to liven up the mood even though it can be seen that Jeanne and Sara were not in the right mood.

They went to eat happily together and went back to the office. Back in the office, they continued to meet regarding the selection before proceeding to the development. With a few weeks left ahead, they really need to work around the clock.

Time passed by and as usual, one by one left the office. The last one's standings were Jeanne and Sara.

“What happened between you and Andy?” Suddenly Sara questioned Jeanne, breaking the silence that occupied the room for quite a long time.

“Nothing,” answered Jeanne short while her eyes were still on the laptop.

“Then why would he come here to meet you instead of me?” Sara continued to ask Jeanne, hoping that Jeanne would open her mouth and clarify something.

“How would I know? Ask him yourself!” Answered Jeanne again. Suddenly, she became heated up at the memory where Sara, who was her best friend, the one that she trusted the most, slept with Andy when Andy was Jeanne's legit boyfriend. Not to mention the moment Sara called her a whore in front of everyone in Jeanne's former office.

Sara became dissatisfied with Jeanne's reaction. She then stood up from her chair, headed towards Jeanne's table, and hit the table hard.

Jeanne was startled by Sara's action.

“What are you plotting, bitch? You want to ruin my life again?!” Shouted Sara, like a thunderstorm.

Jeanne also lost her focus on her job and the mad clouded her judgment. She stood up in front of Sara.

“What? Ruining your life again? Who's ruining whose life?! You are the one who embarrassed me in front of our colleagues, you are the one who stole my boyfriend, and you are the one who made me lose my job!” Shouted Jeanne hysterically.

She had been waiting forever to let this out. And now that she could tell it in front of Sara's face, she now felt at ease.

Sara was somehow shocked seeing Jeanne's reaction, which was all this while she knew that she was the type to keep it all inside. However, she did not feel scared at all.

“Yes, I'm the one who did that. Why did I do that? because you knew all this while I love Andy, but it is you that is in a relationship with him. You knew, Jeanne. But you were selfish! A fucking selfish bitch!!!!” Cried Sara hard.

Jeanne was stunned by Sara's judgment. She was also in love with Andy. And, the fact that Andy also loves her is something that she cannot control.  If they love each other, then which part is selfish that she was in a relationship with Andy.

“It is never my fault that Andy loves me! And we loved each other before. What is fucking wrong with proceeding to a relationship?” Claimed Jeanne.

The phrase 'Andy loves me' hit Sara hard. She cannot control her anger anymore.

“You filthy whore!” Shouted Sara hard while slapping Jeanne as hard as she could.

Jeanne lost her balance embracing the slap that she almost fell down. Luckily, her hand was quick to grasp the table but her face already hit the corner of the table.

Suddenly, a hot liquid felt running at the tip of her lips. She then wiped it with the tip of her finger while giving a death stare at Sara.

Blood.

She ouched due to the pain yet Sara was there in front of her, smirking and even burst a little laugh, a sign of satisfaction.

Seeing Jeanne in pain made Sara feel so happy. She started to laugh hard, taking her handbag and headed towards the exit door.

“Well, you know what, honey? Not only that I embarrassed you and stole your boyfriend, but I'm also the one who made you lose your jobs. I'm the one who passed all your proposal papers to Andy so that you will fail!” Said Sara while laughing hysterically and left the office.

Jeanne acted all strong before she fell down to the ground. The tip of her lips did not feel hurt as much as her heart does. 

She cried so much and even shouted that she cannot hold the frustration anymore.

How could you do this to me?!!!!!!!!

Jeanne questioned hard.

She felt so helpless.

She started to rewind what had truly happened that one day.

On that night, she was working overtime until almost 2.00 a.m when she just got back home. Upon arriving at the home which she rented out with Anne, the one who had been with her since forever, she noticed shoes that she was really familiar with at the doorstep but she decided to not jump into conclusions. Then, she went inside that house, and the house light was all open and there were 2 wine glasses on the side of the couch.

She started to feel weird when she saw Sara’s panty on the floor. What was more shocking was that the leftover clothes were heading towards her room. From what she saw, she was positive that someone was making love.

She then walked slowly to her room. However, a t-shirt on the floor caught her eyes.

Why is it similar to the one that she bought for her boyfriend, Andy?

Jeanne felt that something was not right. But, she proceeded with walking towards her room slowly.

She then opened the door that was left enclosed slowly.

“WHAT THE FUCK??!!!!!” Jeanne shouted as much as she could when she saw Sara and Andy was fully naked in her bed, looking tired.

Andy, who was only awake at that moment, was so shocked to see Sara on top of him. He quickly stood up at the site of the bed nakedly.

“No, Jeanne. Please, this is all a misunderstanding... Jeanne no, I was...” Explained Andy nervously while pinching his aching head.

“I can see your fucking dick!” Shouted Jeanne angrily.

Sara who saw all this smiled at the back Andy.

“Please Jeanne, I can explain!” Begged Andy while reaching for his trousers.

“Get out of my room!” Ordered Jeanne.

“No, Jeanne. Please!” Cried and begged Andy.

Jeanne also started to cry.

“It must be so devastating for you that we only foreplay and not doing sex, huh? that you had sex with MY FRIEND ON MY BED?”  Shouted Jeanne.

“FUCK OFFFF!!!” Shouted Jeanne while taking her steps outside of the room.

Soon after that, Sara and Andy got out of the room.

Andy seemed so guilty but he did not dare to talk to the angry Jeanne. He stayed silent.

In the meantime, Jeanne cried as hard as she could. She started to attack Sara.

“How could you do this to me? That is my boyfriend, to begin with!” Shouted Jeanne to Sara.

Sara laughed hysterically and left Jeanne puzzled.

“He tastes perfect. Not to mention his performance in bed, truly a chef's kiss! HAHAHA!” Said Sara.

Jeanne was still puzzled. Sara made a boring face.

“What took you so long, dim wit? I planned all this because I'm so sick to hear you at your top. Be it at the office or in your personal life. You have it all, girl you have it all.” 

“It made me feel as sick as fuck! So I took advantage of knowing your boyfriend to get you to the bottom. HAHAHA. And yeah, I guess it's all worth it that he tastes perfect as well,” said Sara disgustingly while licking her lips with her tongue.

Jeanne was so shocked to hear that from someone that she trusted and relied on the most.

The fact that the girl in front of her acted all good in front of her all this while made sex with her boyfriend made Jeanne felt sick that she almost throw up.

Right that night, Jeanne took a bag with personal belongings and checked into the hotel. She just felt so sick and disgusted to sleep in the bed that her friend and boyfriend just made love.

Sara, who was watching everything, just ignored Jeanne's action. Deep in her heart, she felt so satisfied. And, the fact that Andy is still a virgin made her feel even more satisfied.

The next morning, Jeanne woke up late due to nonstop crying. She was so surprised that she woke up at 9 a.m when she had a meeting at 8.30 a.m.

Luckily the hotel was near to the office so she just ran to the office. Upon arriving, her manager, Daniel, and  Sara were already there. 

In the room, she was so humiliated by the manager. Sara who was there smirked all along and it made Jeanne want to punch her but she just stayed silent.

The office, which belonged to Daniel, was a family friend of Sara. However, Jeanne consistently achieved perfect achievement making her become the center of attention of the office.

Sara tried to show herself to Daniel but it seemed like a failure. The last resort was to use the filthy way to take Jeanne down.

Due to a big clientele and big reputational hit, Jeanne was fired instantly. She felt so sad.

On her way to get her things at the house as she did not want to stay with Sara anymore, her mother called that she was diagnosed with cancer and the treatment would need to start very soon.

Another problem hit her hard.

Jeanne came back to reality, wiping her tears, and went to Aaron's room to have a rest.

She had such a long day.

And it's not a good one.
