“Anna, there is a promnight invitation for you. You will come with your handsome guy, right?”

I received a pink invitation card from Tiffany while exclaiming enthusiastically. The promnight party is a party that all students at Kirin High School look forward to. In this party everyone will wear their best clothes and one best couple will be crowned the king and queen of promnight. I hope this year I get it with Jihoo oppa. Moreover, this is also Jihoo oppa's last year here, I want to carve as many happy memories as possible with Jihoo oppa.

"After school we have to go to the boutique and find a dress for tomorrow." said Jessica excitedly.

I immediately nodded in agreement at the idea and started thinking about a dress color that would suit me at the promnight. This year maybe I will wear a fuschia colored dress because currently the color trend for that dress is the most popular among young girls like me.

"Anna, look what happened."

Suddenly Tiffany nudged my arm while pointing at the crowd of Kirin students who were laughing at someone. Instantly I narrowed my eyes to see what was happening. And it was only after a while that I realized that the source of all the students' laughter was Lee Junhyu. The strange man seemed to be walking with his head down while holding the hood of his hoodie tightly. But Jinki oppa actually pulled the hoodie so that all the students here could see Junhyu's ridiculous pink hair.

            "To be honest I feel sorry for him, he is getting unfair treatment from the students here." muttered Jessica next to me.

Honestly I feel that way too, but I chose to ignore it because an idiot like Junhyu deserves to be bullied. Especially with his silent demeanor, he made it easier for others to trample him.

            "Just let it go, he's weird. He shouldn't just sit around when other people trample his pride.”

"Look, his face is covered in bruises. Did he just get beaten again?"

            Instantly I was only able to frown while staring at Junhyu's battered face

distance. As far as I know last night his face was still fine. Only the corners of his lips looked injured because he had previously been slapped by Jihoo oppa. Maybe today he had the bad luck that got him beaten up like that.

            "Honey, finally found you."

            Jihoo kissed my cheek gently and immediately took the place next to me. His wide hands began to move to take the french fries on the table and also my cola which was half left.

            "Look at that idiot, oppa, he can't get rid of the pink spray paint on his hair." I said giggled softly next to Jihoo oppa. Since earlier the tail of my eyes couldn't escape from Junhyu while wondering about the bruises lodged so much on his face.

            “Did you beat Junhyu yesterday? There are so many bruises." asked Tiffany next to me.

Jihoo oppa and I spontaneously shook our heads. Yesterday we didn't beat him at all, he didn't even get those wounds when I met him at the mini market. Maybe he just got the wound this morning because he was acting as usual.

            "Maybe he was beaten by Jinri for refusing to provide the answer."

            "Tsk, you idiot! He was willing to be beaten by others rather than share a little of his intelligence. Never mind oppa, don't bother with that little boy anymore, how about the promnight the day after tomorrow?” I asked changing the topic.

Honestly, I'm pretty sick of discussing the hottie Lee Junhyu because I still feel a little goosebumps every time I remember his pretty sharp gaze at me. I don't know what the lustful guy was thinking when looking at me, what is clear is that I always feel insecure when he looks at me.

            "Of course you will be my partner Anna, we will definitely get the title of promnight king and queen."

            "Of course oppa, today I'm going to buy a dress with Tiffany and Jessica."

"Good, do you need me to drive you, honey?"

            "Nope, I brought my car today."

            Fortunately, Jihoo oppa swiftly pushed Junhyu hard so that the poor man had hit the wall before walking again without looking back. Really, Lee Junhyu is a strange and insane man. There have been many people who tortured him in this school, but he seems to have no fear of them. Instead, he was mostly silent when his pride had been trampled by others. Sometimes I don't even find hatred in his eyes when those people hit him. But I instead found hatred in his eyes when he was staring at me. He may have held a grudge against me.

            "Have you been bothered by thugs last night?"

At seven sharp the Kirin High School hall was packed with various boys and girls who came in their best clothes. With full of grace, I walked slowly through the crowd of Kirin students who were staring at me with amazement. Some of them even whispered enviously when I passed them with a long fuschia colored dress that dangled beautifully along my legs. Oh I love their expressions, full of admiration, but also emitting an aura of envy. Huh, you sycophants! In front of me they showed a cute face like an angel who always praised my beauty, but behind me, I know they often insult me.

            "Oppa..."

            I called Jihoo oppa slowly and immediately embraced his sturdy arms while standing right next to him. My lover today is also wearing a very beautiful black suit the work of designer Fregamo. I bet, today we will definitely be the kings and queens of the promnight to match.

            “Anna, you are so beautiful! You will definitely be the king and queen of the promnight tonight.” shouted Jessica excited.

We then walked near the stage to watch the series of events that had been made by the promnight committee. Tonight looks like it will be fun. Moreover, tonight I managed to amaze everyone with my appearance which is quite amazing. I feel like I want to laugh in front of the women who are looking at me enviously because they can't look as beautiful as me.

            "Oh my God, isn't that Lee Junhyu..."

            At first glance I heard someone next to me whisper excitedly while staring at the hall door which is at the end of the middle. With curiosity I immediately turned my face towards the door, and I was immediately treated to a very disgusting sight. That guy really ruined my mood. How could he have come to the promnight dressed so unfashionably like that. That plaid shirt buttoned up to the neck, then that ridiculous bow tie, oh... it really hurts my eyes.

"What’s up, honey?"

            "Look at that little boy, how dare he come to this event." I replied lazily to Jihoo oppa.

His slightly strange gait made everyone's gaze unable to escape from him. Of course not because you feel amazed, but feel strange about his ridiculous style.

            "How about we greet him for a moment oppa?" I suggested with a sly face. Jihoo oppa who understood the meaning of my gaze immediately walked hand in hand with me to approach the idiot Lee Junhyu who was confused in the middle of the hall. He, of course, does not have a partner on this event, is becoming increasingly visible pathetic and disgusting. The promnight committee should have forbidden him to attend because he would only spoil this beautiful event with his arrival.

            "Lee Junhyu... apparently you were brave enough to come to this event."

             I just realized when I approached him that his black hair had returned to normal. He must have used up bottles of dye to get the colour of his hair back.

            "This event is open to anyone, so I'm free to come here like you."

            "Tch, you better study at home, man, you're only going to be a mockery here because of your tacky style." said Jihoo oppa while patting his shoulder several times.

I saw he was a little nervous when he stood next to Jihoo oppa, but his nervousness was only briefly because after that he actually threw Jihoo oppa's hand roughly off his shoulder.

            "I came here to enjoy the party, so leave me alone."

            "How arrogant you are. Who do you think you are?" I said growled. And not long after, I saw him lying on the floor with glasses that had been thrown away and was trampled by one of the Kirin students who knows who. Feel it! I hated to see him being arrogant like that, when he shouldn't be. He couldn't even go to school here if it weren't for the scholarship from Jihoo oppa's father.

"You better go home if you don't want to be more embarrassed here."

            Regardless of who was still lying on his stomach on the floor, I immediately invited Jihoo oppa to go to the left side of the stage. After this there will be a couple dance party and various other interesting games for couples. I want tonight all eyes will only be on me and Jihoo oppa because I'm sure we will be crowned kings and queens tonight.

            Tonight is beautiful, but I can't feel any happiness. Even after I was crowned promnight queen, I still felt that something was missing from me. Now I end up pathetic in a lonely back garden because Jihoo oppa has been home since thirty minutes ago. He left me alone because he had urgent business in his father's office. Damn! No one is really by my side when I need them. I'm just sitting here like trash with two bottles of soju I've already drunk half. If I could choose, I don't want to be born as a popular girl who keeps getting lonely like this. I prefer to be an ordinary girl, but I never feel lonely and always happy.

            "Enough, you're already drunk."

            I suddenly felt someone's hand grip my wrist. I huffed immediately jerked the hand off my wrist, and prepared to drink half of my remain soju, but the boy's hand was again blocking my hand, and now he grabbed my soju bottle roughly.

            “Don't disturb my fun! You jerk! Get out of here Lee Junhyu."

            I hurriedly pushed his shoulder roughly after I realized that the guy was bothering me is Lee Junhyu. I felt like I wanted to explode in front of him right now because he drank all of my soju.

"A woman doesn't deserve to drink too much like that."

            "To hell with you? You are just a weak man who is often bullied by Jihoo oppa, you better leave here because you made my head dizzy."

            I felt like my head really hurt after drinking half a bottle of soju in one gulp. Apart from being sick, I also started to feel the effect of the fireflies which was very troublesome. Many times I tried to stand up to avoid this fussy, but it always didn't work because I actually fell repeatedly on the floor. Then suddenly I felt a warm touch on my cheek which then stroked my cheek gently. I knew that it must be Lee Junhyu, but I couldn't get rid of the soft touch on my cheek because I felt that touch could make my heart peaceful. Then next I felt my body lift and swing. I don't know, I don't know exactly what happened to my body, but I just followed my instincts and immediately put my hands on his shoulders or neck, I don't know, I don't care.

            "A respectable girl like you doesn't deserve this, Anna."

            Faintly I heard his voice as soft as cotton in my ear. But I feel like I can't control my body properly anymore. I have surrendered my whole body to Lee Junhyu. I don't remember what happened next because everything went dark, and only left beautiful shadows that I myself was unable to cast out of my head.
