Naya's POV

“My mother is back to being poor…” my hand hovers around my mouth.

“Yes, Naya!” Sherry nods vigorously. “Alpha Erus is a wicked man! He tried to frame me into being a spy for God knows who, and he was the reason why I couldn't contact you anymore!”

“What?” A nervous laugh leaves my lips.

I know that Erus and his mother hate me so much, but this?! This is just vile.

What has my mother done to deserve such treatment from them? We kept our side of the agreement and they back on theirs?!

On nights that staying with the alpha and his mother became unbearable, I used the comfort of knowing that my mother was now in luxury to ease myself to sleep, but I can't believe that it's all been a lie!

Sherry watches my eyes. Her eyes follows mine around, she is waiting for me to say something, but what can I say?

I chuckle nervously as I wish for this to be a big fat joke. A part of me is waiting for Sherry to burst out laughing and for her to tell me that all of thi

Erus' POV I wait to see her fall and cry, but she doesn't. She stands straight as she watches her friend gets driven away. I am evil, I know. It's all my doing. I know I have hurt her so many times, I hate myself for doing this. She turns around, eyes dried like the desert, and she looks straight at me. “Are you okay?” I ask her. She looks at me with confusion, slight confused that I am even asking how she feels. “I'm fine,” she wobbles back into the house. I sigh under my breath when she walks past me. I can't be too careful. I don't trust her friend, Sherry. She has too much of a sharp mouth, and she might be the one who would plant the idea in Naya's head. After she has gone upstairs, I meet my mother still eating in the dining room. She has such a appetite today. “Aren't you going to finish your meal?” She glances at me. “I have to go to the office. An impromptu meeting came.” She stops eating and looks at the stairs. Naya passed by few minutes ago. “You are not feeli

She looks like her daughter, expect she has this dead look in her eyes. Like and has lived a hard life and is just tired with everything. I drive my car to the house and I park in front of the house. The lights are on, I know she is home, but I can't bring myself to walk to the door. What am I going to say to her? Why am I even here? It's been seven months since she last saw her daughter, what am I going to say to her? I exhale as I finally get out of the car. I walk to the door and knock on it. The thump thump thump sounds so loud, I don't want to break this poor woman's door. I knock a few times before she yells in a weak voice that she is coming. She comes to the door, she doesn't recognize me until she unlocks the door and is face to face with me. Her jaw drops and her face turns white when she sees me. She is frozen, I try to s

  • Baby For My Bully Alpha    Freedom coming?

Naya's POV I spent the next days depressed in my bed. First my mother, then Sherry. Everyone is giving up on me, no one wants to stay by my side anymore. Maybe it's my fault. I am just so full of bad luck that even my mother doesn't want to have anything to do with me anymore. Luna Bloodton doesn't come into my room to check up on me anymore. She asks the servants to make sure that I was taking my medication. She didn't care for me, she never did, but God help us if I bring a defective Bloodton child into the world because I refused to take my meds. And as for Erus, I don't know what to think about him. I want to hate him, he is the main reason why my life is the way it is now, but I can't bring myself to do that. I know that there is a warmness behind his cold eyes. I want to believe that he doesn't hate me as much as he acts. It's far-fetched to think that maybe he likes me or feels anything for me, but I am super positive that he doesn't hate me. But when Erus is not free f

Naya's POV I am holding my baby girl in my hands– the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen! She has red hair, something that neither my mother or I had. Did anyone in Erus’ family had such enchanting hair? She has my eyes, Erus' perfectly carved lips. It's like someone poured equal versions of us into a jar and made the perfect baby. But she is not perfect enough for Luna Bloodton. She refused to hold her again and she is throwing everything around. Tears are streaming down my face, the servants are quietly picking after Luna Bloodton. She rushes out of the room, leaving my and the doctor alone. He is the only one who isn't fazed by her disturbing reaction. He has an assuring smile on his face as he stitches me up. “Doctor, I messed up.” I confess to him with a shaky voice. “I… I need to fix this. She is mad at me, I need to fix this. I tried my best, she is a pretty baby, I tried my best, I wanted a boy too…” “Miss Woods, you did perfect. She is beautiful,” he smiles at

We won't allow this nonsense to get to the ears of our enemies.” Fillipia looks confused. “But maybe we should wait for the Alpha–” “Whose biddings do you think I am doing?!” Luna Bloodton yells. My heart drops as I cuddle my child even tighter. Erus doesn't want my baby too. He is just like his mother. They are the most heartless people to have ever walked this earth. Fillipia eyes are filled with tears. We are locking eyes. I can see the empathy in hers, but she can't help me. “Get rid of her, immediately.” Luna Bloodton orders. “I will go out for a few drinks with my friends and when I am back, she should be gone. The baby too.” “But Luna, the baby is a Bloodton too.” “If you ever say that again, I will cut off your tongue! That

Naya's POV Lance runs his hand through his hair as he walks up and down. “Fillipia, no.” “What do you mean no?” Fillipia pushes him. “You see the way they treat the girl, she is just a child. The Luna wants me to kill them? How am I supposed to live with that?” “They are going to kill us, Fillipia, we shouldn't be meddling in this. This can go very wrong for us.” Lance shakes his head. I can't say I am mad at Lance for not wanting to help me, I am even too tired to cry myself. My eyes are just fixed on my sleeping child. If my child is safe, then I don't care what they do to me. I really don't. Fillipia has Lance against the wall as they speak in hushed tones. She is still trying to convince him and he doesn't want to get into trouble. Who would blame him? Erus and his mother are the most evil people to have ever walked this earth. “We don't have time, Lance! Take them away already!” “Alright, fine. If this comes back against us, it better be worth it.” Lance says. He walks

I just want my mother to know that I am fine. I want my mother to see her grandchild, I want her to sleep better knowing that I have escaped my slave masters now. Lance keeps his eyes on me through the mirror. I can see how sorry he feels for me. “It's going to be okay, Miss Woods.” He tells me. I grab my baseball hat and put it on my head, just in case anyone recognizes me. I grab the basket and walk to the front. The reception is calm. I can see that nothing much is happening in the hospital today. “Hi, good afternoon.” I say to the nurse at the front. “I am here to drop off some clothes that are to be donated to the Good People foundation.” “Okay, Miss,” she smiles. She hands me a clipboard with a paper to fill. I heave as I start to fill. It's nothing much, I am almost done in two minutes. “Take your for your donation, please make sure you leave your phone number as someone will call you to appreciate–” The loud blowing of the siren makes both of us turn around. Naya's POV I can't believe that after seven years, I will be going back to Moonclaw. I knew that one day I would be forced to go to Moonclaw, but I didn't know that it would be this soon. It's frightening, but I pack some things for a very long trip, and get Jordan ready to go to Moonclaw. I decide to take my car, that way, I don't have to rent one when I get there. Jordan is excited. I haven't told her that Grandma is gone now. I tried alone, when I was sure that she wasn't going to see me, but I haven't been able to tell her the truth. She is sitting at the back, holding a coloring book and I drive. I have just driven past the ‘goodbye Flearock’ sign. Goddess, give me strength. I need strength to go through this with my daughter. I need strength to mourn my mother. “Hey, mum?” Jordan looks up. “Yes?” I look at her through the mirror. “Do you like salty cake?” “What?” I screw my face. “I saw you crying and eating cake yesterday. Naya's POV ****Seven years later**** After working for twelve hours, all I want to do is to go back home to my daughter, Jordan. I get into the car and shut the door, only then do I completely fall back against my seat. I'm so exhausted. I glance at my wristwatch, it's 12.15 am. I smile because it's my daughter's birthday. Seven years ago today, I was a teenager who had just given birth. I survived Luna Bloodton and ran away to a far away city, something that I would have never thought I would have the courage to do. Seven years ago, I was a teenager, running away from my mother in-law, clutching a few hours old child as the train headed towards what seemed to be oblivion. Now I am twenty four, a registered nurse, and my baby just turned seven years old. Life has been very scary, but I did it. I don't know how, but I have survived for seven years and I am so proud of myself. I feel my eyes getting filled with tears, but I wipe them away. I can't cry now. I nee

Last three days made it seven years since I lost Naya and my daughter. I never thought that Naya would be someone whose absence would wreck my life, but here we are. I left my family house seven years ago and I haven't been able to go back. I have lived in almost ten different houses, but I have never gotten back my peace. What of the women? None. Not even one of them could fill the void that Naya left in my heart. It didn't matter their level of education, their beautyl, their achievements, how well-to-do their family was, it just never worked out. It was just sex and never went beyond that, that doesn't mean my mother even got tired and stopped sending them my way. Running the pack, running the companies has slowly turned me into an emotionless shadow of myself. I refused to accept that Naya was truly dead at the beginning
