CHAPTER FORTY

Officer Ralph's Pov

I sat in my dimly lit office, my mind consumed with thoughts of the ongoing investigation into the mysterious werewolf attacks.

As I thought about the most recent events, the mood was tense. A knock on my door prevented me from leaving as I was about to stand up.

I called, "Come in." A uniformed officer with a sealed packet in his hand entered the space.

"Officer Ralph, this just arrived for you," he said, extending the envelope toward me.
