CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT

Hazel's Pov

Panther and I made our way back to the Pack, our steps heavy with exhaustion and the weight of the day's events.

The air was thick with tension as we entered the tranquil surroundings of the sanctuary, seeking solace and respite from the chaos that had unfolded.

I led Panther to a cozy bedroom, its walls painted in soothing hues and soft lighting casting a warm glow. "Rest here, Panther," I said softly, my voice filled with concern.

"You have been through a lot today. Take a moment to collect yourself."

The excitement of the fight and the exchange with Keith were still fresh in Panther's memory as he slumped onto the soft couch.
