NEW ARRIVAL

MARILYN'S POV

The ride in the car is intensely silent and unbearable. Steve is still stuck in his early morning dizziness as he sits beside me snoring his life out. Mum and dad are both seated at the front of mum's car with Dad at the driver side focused on the road. Mum said this is going to be a huge surprise for us. I wonder what it is but right at the moment all my mind can think of is getting revenge on the huge man sitting in front of me as my stepdad. He had me reeling all night anticipating his arrival all to no avail. I'm so going to make him pay. I don't know why I feel so furious about this but... I can't help it. I can't freaking help a single dime of it... The frustration eating away at my gut is so intense I can... I Can ...... well ....... nevermind. I am still going to get my revenge on him either way.
