The day for the family get-together finally came and Ella found herself in a state of author dismay as she mumbled to herself while she watched her parents prepare for everything. She had done everything she possibly could for the last five days to try to convince them to reverse her punishment but her dad wouldn't be softened to listen. Even her mom had tried to see if she could convince him but it was all to no avail. His mind was made up and he was not going back on his word.
