We worked for several hours, four minds trying to get everything together. Sales were not dropping, as Al suspected. The purchases and inventory indicated a healthy product rotation. That only meant someone was draining the company, making sales, not reporting them, stealing money, and covering their tracks.
We needed to conduct a swift but complete audit. Vamir suddenly stretched. "I am starving. Should I get something to eat? Or are we resuming tomorrow?" He asked, and I looked at the time—it was close to eleven at night.
