CHAPTER 80

George's assistant, a slightly short, well-dressed blonde in a white office suit with a white three-quarter length shirt and pants, white shoes, and slightly high heels, asked to enter her boss's office with a knock on his door. She preferred to do it that way only when a very important meeting was about to take place than to do it by pressing the intercom button and talking to him through the speaker.

It was already January eighteenth, 16:30hrs. After lunch, the lawyer had just printed J.T.'s report on the meeting with the director of the clinic, sent by the same agent to his private data, and analyzed each of the words said by the doctor.

"Come in."

The secretary obeyed and held the office door open to speak to him.

"The refreshments and the meeting room are ready, but the deposition will be delayed."

"Why?" George took his eyes off the documents, resting them on the desk.

"Mr. Glint's lawyer called. He reported the delay, blaming himself for it: he must adjust the change in tuition
