Lance's fingers flexed, clenching so tightly that the veins appeared to be poking through the skin's surface. His jaw tightened with chattering teeth. Unlike Albert, who thinned his lips with his eagle eyes fixed on Lance. The Alpha let out an unconscious growling sound.
"Behave, boys!" Judith interrupted the tension between the two siblings. "A girl is fighting an angel of death in there. Can you boys behave yourselves?" The woman stood between her sons and looked at the two men in turn with a bemused gaze.
No one replied to their mother's words. Albert and Lance looked away to neutralise the emotions ready to explode in their minds.
"Don't you guys have the same desire? We all have the same desires. So, can you make peace for a moment? Ryn needs you to work together, not you fighting each other." Judith lectured her sons.
