Chapter 95. Rooftop

Leaving her eldest son at war with the turmoil in his mind, Judith searched for Lance's whereabouts. She strolled down the hospital corridor and glanced around, searching for her son, who had left in a huff.

"Where are you, Lance?" muttered Judith.

The woman's footsteps stopped right in the middle of the hospital lobby. She turned around. Her eyes carefully scanned the entire space that caught her gaze. However, she recognized none of the figures that passed by there as her son.

"Did you go back to the apartment?" Judith asked no one in particular.

The forties-year-old woman let out a long sigh. Her shoulders sagged weakly. She felt guilty, worried that she had caused a deep wound in Lance's heart. Judith knew a time like this would happen sooner or later. She hoped Lance would accept this fact gracefully, that he and his rival in love were siblings.
