Isabella’s POV

I woke up a little after eight this morning due to my late night activities. Dimitri was sipping tea and thumbing through a news article when I went downstairs to the dining hall for breakfast. I say, “Good morning,” grab a seat, and get myself a cup of coffee.“Don’t you think it’s a little early for coffee? With a smile on his face, he asks. I answered him, “It’s never too early for coffee, and I need it to function properly.” He tells me, “Well, Lance and Gabe will be arriving today.” That I will finally be surrounded by some familiar faces was such wonderful news. “They’re going to be coming to the site with me to meet with the contractors and the architect,” Dimitri continues. Alright, I must go somewhere too. I informed him, “I’ll meet you all at the spot. There was an implicit fear in his eyes that I could read. I quickly added, “I’m just going to get some magical ingredients,” to calm his worries. “All right, take Tilda with you wherever you go. This place is u

“There is a very dark cloud approaching you, a darkness that knows no limit and whose only limit is limitless.” “I see an impending threat pursuing you right now. She took a breath and her eyes turned back to their typical shade of forest green. “Be cautious about who you trust and those close to you.” “What did you mean when you claimed that you and my mother knew what was going to happen? I enquired. “Your mother and I both saw visions when you were born. In our dreams, the Black Rose coven was about to end. Shota replied slowly, “We witnessed it happen and knew what would lead to the cause that would end us.” So why did you take action instead of doing nothing? Tell me,how come she didn’t stop it? With tears welling up in my eyes, I questioned. I attempted to make sense of it, but I was unable to. Why didn’t my mother stop it from happening if she knew how it would end? “Due to you. The coven made all of these sacrifices for you. Shota attempted to clarify, but I wouldn’t let it. T

The kitsunes were swift, faster than the werewolves I practice with at the pack, but they were no match for my witch skills, with Tilda and my back facing each other while I battled them. I chanted, “Exto vez rie enmorté,” and I snapped the necks of three Kitunes where they stood. I then focused my sight on one of the red fixes and sent a tremendous amount of psychic pain through its mind, causing it to fall to the ground and whimper in agony. This fight was never going to end; the more werefoxes we killed, the more reinforcements they brought, so we had to flee to the woods in hopes of losingthem. “This battle is pointless Isabella. They just keep coming back with reinforcement. You have to run,” the voice in my head advised. “Verimos les duspiro,” I say, casting a wooden stake that takes off and impales two foxes, opening up a passage for me to flee. I grabbed her wrist and exclaimed, “Tilda! We have to run away into the woods, quickly!” Her face was covered in blood from battling t

There were dead bodies lying about, some of them foxes. Isabella fought her way out of there; hopefully, the bastard didn’t injure her. I notice a piece of paper with a dagger pinned to it against a tree. That blade, I knew it too well, I remembered. I had killed Damien, Stefan’s elder brother, with the same sword. I take the note and read its contents, my eyes going cold. “Eye for eye” You can meet me where it all started. I’ve come to collect the loan you owe. My thoughts suddenly return to the early memories of everything. I was acquainted with Stefan, we were even brothers. Despite being a pure-blooded kitsune fox, he had the most compassionate soul I have ever met. Over the years, he became comfortable with being a wandering doctor, using his fox blood and powers from his nine tails to heal the sick wherever he went. He didn’t want anything to do with the supernatural realm. However, during his absence, Damien, his brother, underwent a transformation. Before he turned, Damien was

My mate is Stefan.” I could not have remained silent when he told me of the deed that that bastard Dimitri had committed against his brother. What does that mean to you? Surprised by her admission of Dimitri’s abuse of Stefan’s brother, I questioned. “Oh, you were unaware? I gazed at Dimitri as he edged closer to the table. Stefan laughed, “Just so like Dimitri to decieve and lie to those around him.” Dimitri wouldn’t dare mention all the vile things he had done to you. You are aware that my brother was killed by Dimitri within these exact walls of the castle? At last, he says, “He killed him in cold blood,” and I chuckle. I’m laughing so hard it hurts. Is that all? I have no doubt that Dimitri killed your brother for a good purpose. I know a Dimitri who would never kill an innocent person. I spit in his face, “He wouldn’t kill without a good reason.” I had faith in the Dimitri I was familiar with. I had faith in him.Stefan roared with amusement, “You’ve only known him for a month, an

Dimitri yells, “Stefan!” with murder in his eyes. “I intend to murder you! Dimitri snarls angrily. Stefan says, looking at Dimitri with a menacing sneer on his face, “Yelling won’t get you anywhere Dimitri, you have no authority here and I made you a promise remember. I swore to you that I would claim the thing you love the most, a life for a life, and a fox always keeps his promise.” Dimitri was staring at him angrily with a chilly stare. “That’s the look I was looking for. Dimitri Castellan. That is the look of a cold killer, I remember that look when you murdered my brother. Now you know how it hurts when the one you love is dancing with death. There’s only one way you can save Isabella, surrender yourself and let me do this world a favor by ending your life.” Stefan takes out the golden sword. Stefan left Dimitri to make a difficult decision between me and him: “Your life for hers. Choose.” With a fixed gaze, Dimitri first looked at the tip of the golden blade and then back at me.

Enough!” Stefan yells as he tackles Dimitri, knocking him to the stony surface in an instant. “You Dimitri Castellan don’t get to play the hero after all these years of being a villian.” He was furious. Lifting himself off the ground, Dimitri punched Stefan hard, sending him flying into a boulder. With a menacing look, Dimitri vowed, “I’m going to kill you.” Dimitri’s warning makes Stefan laugh and get back up on his feet. “For almost killing your dear Isabella? It’s a taste of your own medicine, What? You don’t like how it tastes?” Stefan cracked a sly grin. “Your brother was a madman and a despot. The nogitsune had power over him; it was its possession. “Neither I nor anyone else could take action,” said Dimitri angrily at Stefan. “He remained my sibling.” With equal parts anger and rage, Stefan growled, “That wasn’t a decision you get to make.” “Desiring my death won’t bring Damien back,” Dimitri said, attempting to talk himself out of what he was about to undergo. However, it will

Achieve it, Dimitry! DESTROY ME! Stefan gave a fierce snarl. “Achieve it! FINISH THIS CHAPTER NOW AND FOREVER!!!” “I am unable to!” Dimitri yelled back in response. Dimitri attempted to remove his hand from Stefan’s chest, but he stopped him by holding onto his hand. Everything felt tremendous. “No, this needs to stop right now. If not, I will never give up on you. I’m going to follow you and steal everything you cherish! “I’ll make sure to take her away from you,” Dimitri says, ripping Stefan’s heart out of his chest in the process. Stefan gasped and softened his expression as he took Dimitri’s hand. He takes his dying breath and says, “T-Thank y-you,” before eventually closing his eyes. As he laid Stefan down, Dimitri Sighed gently; I could tell how difficult this was for him. I approached him and put my hand on his shoulder. He turns to face me, and I shoot him a reassuring glance. I smile and say to him, “It’s over now.” He grinned back, “Come on, let’s go back home.” “Let’s head

I guess it seemed a little strange that I was here. “Yes, I just stopped by to check on something. What brings you around the witches quarters?” she asked. I told her straight out, “I came to gather some ingredients for an assembling spell.” Her gaze narrowed to my neck, and I watched. Her eyes lingered on the pendant that lay on my breast as she said, “That’s a peculiar pendant you have there, how did you get it?” I tucked the pendant under my shirt and explained, “It was a gift. My mom gave it to me to protect it.” I asked, a little curious, “Do you know what it is?” “It’s obviously not an ordinary heirloom, it seems to be forged with powerful ancient magic, a type of magic so strong enough to serve as a prison or a containment for something.” She took a moment to think. “It is beautiful, make sure you hold on tight to it.” She beams. I said hastily as I was leaving the graveyard, “I will. I have to leave now, it was nice seeing you Celeste.” Why had my mom given me this? More impor

Isabella’s POV After what I had seen early this morning, I wasn’t very eager to leave my chambers and join the pack in their activities tonight when midnight finally arrived. Saerah must have been real. All of this couldn’t be made up in my head. However, Lance said that none of the pack members matched Saerah’s description. In addition to confirming Lance’s statement that there was no Saerah in the pack, I questioned. Gemini if I had gone entirely insane this time. Perhaps this time I had lost my mind. A knock on my door startled me out of my reverie, and a folded piece of paper slid in from underneath it. I hurried to the door to see who it was, but as I opened it, I saw that nobody was there. There was no one in the corridors. The sheet of paper that had been thrown in had a message scribbled on it when I picked it up. The message said, “Come meet me in the basement,” but it didn’t identify the sender.Could this have been sent by Saerah, I wondered? It was difficult to solve the

“Hello dear,” a voice that is ancient and foreign says. I nearly burst out of my skin. When I realised it was simply an elderly woman, I yelled, attempting to gather myself, “Fuck! Jeez, you almost gave me a heart attack.” She had a familiar appearance. Her eyes were ebony orbs, and her hair was completely black. Her features were rather distinct. She had a well-defined chin, and her face was pale and wrinkled, nearly devoid of blood. She turned her face to the floor and apologised, saying, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you,Luna.” I smiled and reassured him, “No, it’s okay.” Yes, I can now recall where I first noticed her face—during pack training earlier today, she was observing me from a distance. When Lance introduced me to the new pack members, she was also keeping a careful eye on me. Was she one of the newly introduced rogues as well? I said, “Who are you? I saw you today.” With a faint smile that was having trouble finding its place on her face, she added, “Yes, you remembe

Hey,” I smiled in response.“My name is Andres.” He greets the audience. I grinned and said, “I’m Isabelle.” Before hurriedly leaving, Gabe said, “Luna, I’ll see you later. Dimitri is requesting to see me.” Andres asks uncertainly, “So are you really the Alpha’s mate?” I replied, “Yeah.” My response caused his eyes to widen. He surprises me by saying, “That’s good news then. You are going to help to break the pack’s curse right?”I exclaim, “What curse?” There was no curse that I knew of. “I don’t know… Alpha Dimitri didn’t really give all the details. He just told us that there’s a curse and it will be broken soon.” Andres clarified. Why didn’t anyone want to tell me about this? The pack has been cursed. There might be something I might do to assist. He said, “Thank you for telling me this.” Before I went, Andres said, “It’s no problem. I’ll see you later Luna.” Why would Dimitri never tell me about this? Since they were also my pack, I needed to know if the pack was cursed. I was obli

Isabelle’s POV Gemini, Lance, and Gabe greeted us as we returned to the pack. Without giving me another glance, Dimitri and Lance went straight to his office. I hope Dimitri won’t revert to the icy alpha I knew, but I suppose it was enjoyable while it lasted. I suppose my belief that our encounter at his glass palace held great significance for him was irrational.“So, Isabelle, tell us everything that happened between you and Alpha Dimitri after he took you away from the club. Where did you guys go? What happened?” Gemini enquired with inquisitive eyes. She and Gabe appeared to have been anticipating our return in order to learn the main points of all that transpired while our absence. These two were true gossips. Gabe’s intense gaze made my face flush. “Come on Isabelle. Spill it already! I know something happened between you two last night. He even forgot about his planned meeting with the rogues.”“See we knew it, you look so guilty. Now say it otherwise I’m not going to tell you a

He snarls, obviously irritated. He pulls his phone out of his jeans pocket and flings it onto the counter without turning to look. He just needs to take a brief look before hitting the speaker button. Lance said on the other end, “Dimitri, where are you?” “Lance,” yells Dimitri. “Now’s not the right time.” Even though I’m doing my best not to make any noise, it’s really difficult when Dimitri continues to suck on my breasts in this manner. I have to use my hand to conceal my own groans. “Okay. Then I just want to tell you the new rogues are already here at the pack. You know they need to have a word from you.” Lance adds. “Fuck!” Dimitri halts, muttering obscenities. Before the phone ends, Dimitri says, “Lance, you know the procedure. Make them comfortable, till I get there.” “Shit!” he exclaims, glancing down. It seems to me that he intended for us to stay here for a while longer, but he needs to go back to the pack to deal with the new rogues. He gives me a dissatisfied look and say

I gulped as he started thrusting in me after he put his hands around my waist and I felt his firm manhood against my opening. My claws scrape his back as he continues to pound into me, and I tighten my grip. Now that his thrust was deeper and faster, his entire length could finally fit inside me. I let out groans as I hold on to him for dear life. “Isabelle,” he screeches. “Fuck. You are so tight. You feel so good, baby.” I’m shocked as he stands up straight, raises my legs, and rests them on his shoulders. He can now enter deeper thanks to his new position, and he keeps fucking me hard, his balls hitting my clit with each stroke. He goes in closer once again and plants a messy yet intense kiss on my lips. When I came all over his dick, I was at the height of my climax. Just in time, he pulls out and dumps his load onto my stomach. By the time he finally fell on top of me, we were both breathing heavily. Before one of us speaks, we give ourselves time to catch our breath. He sighs, “

There’s sorrow in his voice, like he’s trying so hard not to lose control but still can’t. My heartbeat quickens. It was up to me to decide this. This was my chance to say anything to halt it if I wanted to. The Alpha in front of me is staring at me with such intensity that it’s killing me, and my eyes dart over him. I can see by the expression on his face that he meant business when he urged me to get him to stop. Once more, he gives me a fierce kiss, tearing my lips apart, but then he backs off. He says impatiently, “Fuck Belle. Tell me to stop.” “No,” I say in a murmur that verges on a wail. I draw him in closer, burying my face in his shoulder as I wrap my arms around his neck. I feel like I’m losing him again —why is that? I feel that he’ll stay away from me since we both realize that when we’re around each other, we lose our self-control. The notion of being apart from him makes me cringe. I still feel the anguish of his disregarding my existence and avoiding me. That is a terri

Isabelle’s POV I give him a heartfelt kiss. I have so many feelings inside of me that it feels like my chest is going to burst. His lips against mine seems so natural. He presses our lips closer, and I can’t help but sigh. I nearly lose my head over what he just admitted to me. It amazes me that he has never desired anyone else the way he desires me right now. I pull up my white flag and give myself over to him. This was my heart’s desire. The heart wants nothing more than to lose me in his embrace, and that’s all it desires. Currently, at this very moment. To say this, I move away from him. “Dimitri,” I yell, still gasping from our passionate kiss. After I break up our kiss, he looks at me angrily, as if he couldn’t go a single second without it. He looks straight into my eyes as though he’s trying to figure out what I’m going to say. I mutter, “I’m sorry.” I was hurt. I did those things, I didn’t mean any of it. I shouldn’t have done what I did in the club; it was so stupid. It was

He looks a little confused and asks, “What the hell are you talking about?” With obvious irritation in my voice, I ask, “What about you, Dimitri?” I let out, feeling my eyes burn from the tears that welled up, “Did you ever think about what you were doing by avoiding me for days? Not speaking to me? I’m your bloody mate for goodness sake!” He gives me a startled expression as I say this. When he realized what I had said, his eyes widened. “How in hell did you find that out?” “I figured it out when Stefan kidnapped me, him and Tilda mentioned that we were mates, this pain in my chest wouldn’t let me be.
