On the third day after the meeting, the declaration ceremony was held. The ceremony took place in front of the elven palace where hundreds of citizens were gathered to witness the surprising and sudden event. Normally, a declaration like this would take at least two weeks of preparation since it required the official papers from all nations, but since this was only between the Dwaven and Elven Kingdoms with both parties already present, the process was quick.Most of the audience were elves but there were specks of other races visible in the crowd. After paying his debt to Salj that was overdue for a while now, Matthew was making his way toward Cecilia's mansion which would've been several hours away from where it was if he rode a carriage. Lucky for Matthew, his running speed was much faster and his stamina was abnormal as well.It still took about an hour because he got lost, but he did arrive earlier to the front gate of the mansion.
