Jade's POV

I couldn't help but giggle to myself when I saw the Beta, it was like a dream come true. He was the one who after all brought me here in the first place.

“I have indeed being diligent,” I repeated after him and he hesitated but then he nodded. “From now, I'll train you to be a trainer.”

A loud scream escaped from my lungs and then I clapped loudly.

“Yes!”

Beta Boaz seemed irritated by my loud cheer which made me reduce the amount of celebration I was acting with.

“Uhm…” I trailed off.

“Come with me,” beta Boaz said and I turned to him immediately, but then I looked at the bodybuilder who had been training me all along. He nodded at me, a gesture for me to do as Beta Boaz had said.

I nodded and follow Beta Boaz out of the room.

“Since you did not give up on your training, I'm going to have to pass you up to someone I trust to teach you.”

“I thought you were going to train me,” I said.

“Indirectly I am. I'm too busy to deal with just you alone.”

That made sense. Untill I re

Me?” I didn't remember when me and Jade spoke ruggedly about what good friends we were. I just thought we were cool and that I was her cool nurse who said some smart words at times but who could have tell that she actually saw me as a friend? That was a bit flattering if I was telling the truth.“Yes, Alexa.” Jade told me. “You've been way more to me than I could ever tell you.”“And why is that?” I asked. “I only helped you bandage your wounds one time, it's not that deep.” I said.“Maybe to you, it wasn't that deep but to me…” Jade's eyes were teary now. “It was the whole world. Your words, changed my life forever.”“What?” I was still refusing to beli

He was in his office so I went right there.Knock knockI knocked loudly on the door and heard a simple “Come in” from inside the office.I opened the door swiftly and stepped into the office. The Alpha was working on some paperwork which looked intensely complicated. I could see through my perfect seeing.“How are you, Alexa?” He asked the moment I worked in while still staring at the paperwork.“Well, Alpha Nate. You look really busy so I'm going to keep this short and easy.” I said, trying to keep my voice low and calm.“What is it?” He asked, looking up from his paperwork for the first time.“I would like to ask for permission from you,” I said with my head held high, for the first time I felt like he might not approve it but I decided to try anyway.“I would be going on a short trip with my friend Shirley tomorrow, would you

Alexa's POVI went to the kitchen and saw Angel with the cooks arguing with each other over the way a meal should be served.“Hi guys,” I said quickly, getting both of their attention. They broke away from each other and turned to me. “What do you want?” One of the cook asked in a careful tone.I did not hesitate. “Is there anything I can eat here at the moment? I'm pretty hungry.”“See? Even the nurse Is hungry, now if you don't mind, pack us some doughnuts.” She said which made me sigh. Some doughnuts wouldn't do. I needed a solid.“Don't you have some pastries or something? I'm retiring to bed early tonight so I won't have dinner.”“If that's the case then we can whip you up what we already have. What do you think about some salad and rice?”“That's nice. If I could have it, I'd be very grateful.” One of the cooks said and proceeded to give me my order. By the time she was done, she handed me the plate and I took it from her gratefully and exited the kitchen. As I left, I heard Ang

Go ahead.” I said. “Fine.” He said and said, “Let's go to the open fields.”I went with him to the open fields and started to do some warm up exercises.“What is this all about?” Logan asked me midway into my exercise.“Oh it's just to warm up.” “Well, you're right to do so. Anyway, let me teach you the basics on what it means to be a trainer.”“Go ahead,” I said and crouched down to the floor.“To be a tracker means to know the secrets of the woods. Finding out both danger and treasure is the job of a tracker.”“I know.” I said. “To find out information without being caught is what it means to be a tracker. For example, finding out the rougues headquarters and reporting to the stationary in command such as the Beta or the trackers' leader.”“You seem to know a lot about being a tracker. However, it's quite more than words can say. You need to be active, yo

Jade's POVThat night, I couldn't sleep. I could only think about the mistake I had done kissing Logan. That was the only thing that had made the situation escalate.“Help me, god.” I thought to myself and laid on my bed while feeling totally miserable. Now that he found out that I'd hurt myself because of his cheating on me, he probably felt like the most powerful person in the world. I felt irritated with myself. I got dressed in a long-sleeved shirt and pants and got myself prepared to step outside. I put on a coat around myself and stepped outside. I started to jog to and from to get my circulation moving as I didn't feel any need to do anything than a need for active movement because of my tiredness and constant flashback of what happened between me and Logan. Alexa's POVI stepped outside only to see Jade jogging around. She looked really cool doing it and I couldn't help but smile. The jade that I know was becoming better than ever. I didn't want to disturb her so I decided m

This made me realize that the wound had healed enough that it didn't need any extra liquids on it.Once I was done, Jade rolled her sleeves back to the appropriate place and I stood up from my feet.“Have a nice day, Alexa.” She told me.“Have a nice day,” I told her back and she nodded and I proceeded to walk away. The next garbage can I saw, I disposed the used cleaning utensils for the wound. I walking to Shirley's house in the woods when I heard a sound. I halted in my steps and looked around to see who the invader was. Then I saw Nora in front of me in a black coat and black-colored hat. Alexa's POV“Oh you do? I'll just leave you alone then. We can talk to each other next time.”I didn't say anything, I simply walked past Nora.By the time I got to Shirley's place, my mood was lightened, but it was also fifteen minutes past 6am, our unspoken time of meeting. I knew she wouldn't mind as long as I made it.I could see that the kitchen lights were on in her house. She must have been in the kitchen preparing something for us to eat.I knocked on the front door and waited for her to come out.The door opened and I saw headfirst her gorgeous face as she stayed halfway by the door.“Finally, you are here.” She swung the door open widely. “Finally, you're here.”“Yes,” I said and stepped into the house and she shut the door as soon as I was in the house.“I'm preparing breakfast.” She told me.“And what would we have for breakfast?” I asked with a slight giggle. “The aroma is exciting.”“Just some lasagna and eggs.”“Ooh, that sounds absolutely nice.” I said and she nodded i

Alexa's POVWe were diving into the woods like it was our first time doing so. I was able to feel the pleasure of the wind dancing through my hair. It was an erroneous feeling.“Calm down,” I told myself but I couldn't help the excitement that danced through me. It was a feeling that I wasn't used to. Yet, it was different and nourishing. I felt entirely happy because Shirley was here with me and I knew that she felt happy with me too. The two of us were just two girls recklessly traveling through the woods to Deep into woods pack. It was about afternoon now, and the sun's reflection was on my skin. I was a bit sweaty now and thought of changing my clothes.I told Shirley about it but she shook her head at me. “No, hang on. We're almost there.”I could see from up ahead that we were almost there. So I kept in my discomfort and watched as we successfully crossed into the territory Deep into the woods.“We're here,” I said as I hopped off Shirley's back. “Right.” She said and I smiled a

We can take over the world and no one would ever be able to stop us. You are a star Witch.”“You're my brother,” I said, still in shock as that was true. I had found that out but myself.“Call me Edward,” he said causing my jaw to drop.“What?”“My name is Edward.”“Well Edward I don't know what to do concerning you. You are my brother?! That's crazy. My parents, I mean, our parents never told me that they gave birth to a boy.”“That's probably because they didn't want you to be any sadder If they told you that your twin brother is missing.”“Twin brother?” I said, feeling shocked a second time.“We're twins?!” I asked.“Yes,” he nodded, “And stop acting so surprised everytime, it's annoying.”“I see.” I answered, but then I said, “We're really siblings. Alexa's POV“I don't know what to believe.” I said.“I'll leave you to it.” He said and turned around to leave. It was then that I remembered what exactly that I came here for. I couldn't let the death of the white wolf be in vain. Also, Zaria was dead. And there was nothing that I could do to ever bring her back. So now my focus should be on my pack, Deep into the woods and how to make it prosperous again without any interference from the shadow Wolves.“Wait,” I said causing the Shadow Wolves leader to halt in his steps.“What?” He asked before looking at me.“If you don't have any magic then how come you don't react to my magic?” I asked.“Oh,” he turned to me. “Ever since I was little, I always carry a little pendant with me which makes me immune to magic. I don't know who gave it to me but somehow it always works and protects me when I'm in danger. It's like a little pocket charm.” He said. “By the way,” I said, “I want to you to stop attacking Deep into the woods.” “And what w

I have come here to announce a truce with your leader.”One of the Shadow Wolves scoffed, “Attack!”They all sped towards me and I stretched my hands forth causing magic to explode out of me causing them to all fall back to this ground with blood gushing out of their mouths. They were all dead.I looked to the while wolf beside me and it howled. I stepped over the dead bodies and continued to walk ahead over to see more shadow Wolves rushing tow

Alexa's POVPhillip looked nervous so I whispered unto him, “Raise up your head. This moment will determine how long you will be respected by everyone.”He did as I said and raised his head up. I focused my gaze on the crowd. “Everyone, I would like you to put a hand together for Phillip North. He put his life as risk to find out the truth that Alpha Nate was with the enemy. Because of him we know who our enemies are and who our friends are.” I said and they all applauded him.“I would also like to announce to you all that Phillip would be the Beta of Deep into the woods, I hope you all listen to him as well as you listen to me.” I said. There was a little bit of hesitation amongst the crowd. After all, most of them were aware of what had happened in the pack with Zaria North. However, some clapped and I instantly knew that Phillip would have some problem controlling the people and ruling them but I also knew that he would have to prove himself. Only then would he be accepted.“Every

He did as I urged with his eyes widened in anticipation for what I would say next.“What's the problem?” He asked.“I choose today to officially make you my beta.”“But why what's the hurry?”“I just thought about it and to be frank with you, I don't like how everything in my pack is moving so I decided that I would go to meet the leader of the shadow Wolves. That's the only way that the pack would ever make progress. I'm tired of people dying on me.”“Alpha, that is dangerous. Is there anyone else you've spoken about this to?”“Just you, Phillip.”Phillip cleared his throat, “How is the baby doing?”“Good. But the most important thing here isn't me or the baby. It's the pack. After all he said about Zaria North?I stood up from the chair.“Arthur, you said Zaria killed your son and now you're saying you don't think she killed your son?” I said, feeling absolutely disgusted by what Arthur was saying.“Now that Zaria is dead you're changing your mind?”“It's exactly because she's dead that I think she didn't kill my son. How could she do that and kill herself, it doesn't make sense at all to me!”“What makes sense then Arthur, tell me?”“I think Zaria was controlled before she died. One of the warriors told me that she died during the war but she was brought back to life. I didn't believe him but now that she's dead, I think he might be onto something.”“She told me something similar before she died but I…” I trailed off, while thinking deeply. “I don't know.” I said while exhaling. I sat back down on my chair and said to Arthur, “Can you please cal

So I took a shower and got dressed in my normal clothes then I went to my office and Martha had already replaced my files. I didn't know what to do. I still hadn't thought of what to do with Alpha Nate. He'd betrayed me of course but his betrayal made no sense to me. Unless he knew about my powers and tried to use me to fulfill his own selfish motives. However, I wouldn't know because I didn't even get to ask him. But with the rate at which things were accelerating, if I didn't put a quick stop to what was going on with the Shadow Wolves things could get worse and more people could betray. Who

What do you know about that?” I asked. She shook her head at that agressively. “Nothing I swear!”“Tell me everything you know, Zaria. Did you decide to betray me because I didn't give you everything you wanted? Instead I chased you out of the pack to represent the shadow Wolves. Did you regret being affiliated with Deep into the woods so you met with their leader instead and did his dirty deeds so he could let you go?” I asked with my eyes glowing with tears. But I stubbornly wiped the tears. There was no way I would cry because of Zaria. She wasn't worthy of my tears.Zaria suddenly stumbled back in the prison cell and her eyes widened. She clenched onto the side of her top and said, ”I remember now.”My eyes widened.“Tell me,” I said.
