The ballroom continued the birthday celebration of Saben. The grand ballroom glowed with a warm golden light, casting over the laughter-filled space. The blue and silver balloons danced near the ceiling as Saben's classmates ran around the superhero-themed decorations, giggling. In the middle of it all stood Saben proudly in his blue suit, the tiny red bowtie slightly askew as he grinned up at his father.

Benedict knelt down to fix it. "There. Now you're the handsomest boy in the room," he declared, tousling his son's hair.

Saben chuckled at that and peeked over to Sabrina who stood by, her flowing white dress moving across the floor in a graceful elegance as she watches them with absolutely pure adoration in her eyes.

"You say that all the time, Dad," Saben teased. "Are you sure you're not just saying this because I'm your son?"

Benedict grinned. "Absolutely not. You could walk into any room and still be the most handsome kid there."

Saben raised an eyebrow in jest. "Even in a room f

Clara's face curled into something almost dark—unrecognizable."Yes, I do. You don't know what it feels like to be in love that much, have it consume and destroy you. Benedict was the dream, was the future, and then that woman came around and took all of it back."Her lip curled up and curled with contempt."She does not deserve him. She shouldn't even draw the same oxygen as he did."Morales clenched his fists. "And if you do this? So what? They will hunt you. You will have to run for all eternity."Clara moved closer, her voice becoming a snake venom whisper. "That's why you are here, Brother. To protect me. To clear up my mistakes. That's what family does, isn't it?" Clara spoke, her voice dripping with cold resolution.Morales swallowed hard at the sight of her. His little sister-he had no one, really-increasingly sinking into the night."Clara, I'm scared to death of you. I don't want to lose you. Ramos squinted. He digested the picture unfolding before him. His stomach writhed in knots, but not at what he saw here. Rather, it was because of what was inside of him: a searing feeling of betrayal that churned up through his core. He trusted Morales, treated him like a brother. Now, though, his former brother stood before him—a man with blood on his conscience, guilty because he'd torn his oath of protection apart to kill another person. It was then that Ramos' voice pierced the heavy stillness, cold and impassive. "Morales," he said, as if his words carried with them the sentence of an executioner. "You are placed under arrest for having aided and abetted Clara Thompson in her escape and for concealing her whereabouts.Morales didn't blink, didn't budge. His head stayed bent forward, his eyes fixed on Clara's lifeless body as if he could resurrect her with one look. His fingers still grasped the gun, quivering as if they couldn't let go of the cold metal even in the face of inevi

The echoes of Clara Thompson's last breath still lingered in the air like an etching memory. It had occurred on Saben's birthday—what was supposed to be a day of joy had turned into a night of chaos, fear, and ultimately, closure. Now, in the aftermath, Benedict and Sabrina sat in the quiet of their home, finally undergoing the weight of the past. Benedict stood in the window of their estate, his beautiful home. He looked out the window into the garden where he had once heard the shrill, ringing laughter of children echoing through the halls. Hours ago, Saben blew out the candles on his birthday cake amidst the balloons and smiling faces. And then Clara had appeared. Uninvited. Unwanted. And now she's dead. The woman who had tormented him for years, tearing apart everything he held dear, was finally gone. The End. It should have felt wrong-grief-stricken, even. But all he felt was relief. He breathed slowly, running his hand through his hair. "She's gone," he whispered to himself. "F

The house was finally silent. After all the ruckus of the evening, Benedict and Sabrina had tucked Saben into bed, safe and sound. They watched him for a while, the small chest heaving and falling steadily, an innocent face with no mark left by the terrors of the night.Sabrina stroked his hair softly, whispering in a low tone, "Sleep well, my love."Once they were convinced that he slept soundly, they went out of his room, shutting the door gently. When they went back to their bedroom, Sabrina sighed."I am going to take a shower my love Benedict," she whispered, massaging her temples.Benedict sat on the edge of the bed and picked up a book from his nightstand. "Okay dear Sabrina," he said, opening it.She stood there, watching him for a moment, his face calmer than it had been in months. The weight of Clara's existence had been upon him for so long, but now, it was finally gone. She walked across the bathroom to the shower, closing the door behind her. Warm water cascaded over her

Sabrina's kitty jerked back in white hot need-and then she flung her head backward in ecstasy as Benedict lapped deep inside, licking all around her lips and slit so that he could get a taste for every inch of her.Sabrina stroked her hand through his thick brown hair. She loved him so much, loved what he was doing to her. She was gasping for pleasure, as she stroked one of her thick nipples under his tongue. She wanted to watch every second of the puss licking, but it was nearing too much to handle after fantasies of this particular moment on that plane. Breathless and hot, Sabrina lay back, riding wave upon wave of bliss, knowing that Benedict would be raising his eyes to look at her as she did so. He had told her often that he loved seeing her respond to him and that he always wanted to make sure that he was turning her on as much as he could.Eyes closed in ecstasy, Sabrina felt Benedict's hand reaching up her writhing body. Two strong fingers pushed gently against her lips and sh

Sunbeams creep across the curtains in the bedroom. Warmth and comfort fill the room scents even as the lingering trace of passion pours through from the night before hangs heavy in the air.Sabrina shifted as her body ached, being decadently delicious for the intensity of last night. As she moved, she felt the warmth of Benedict beside her, his strong arm draped possessively around her waist. Her lips curled into a small smile. She swiveled slowly, her eyes to meet his as he stirs awake. His gaze, heavy with satisfaction, locked onto hers, and for that moment neither of them uttered a word-only enjoying their momentary silence, the rare time of peace in the midst of all that was happening around them. "Good morning," he whispered, his voice still husky with sleep. She smoothed her finger over the slight roughness of his stubble on his jawline. "Morning," she whispered back. Benedict pulled her closer until her bare skin was flush against his, and his hold was tightening. "Last night…,

"Ohhh, yes, Daddy," she whispered, her eyes closing as, rousing from her sleep-induced stupor, her hips caught the rhythm of my hand and began meeting it. Her velvet interior stroking against my rough hands made my cock begin to throb almost painfully, and I watched her face intently, the bliss I saw spreading over her face making me even hotter."I want to take you wherever, however, and whenever I want to, baby girl," I whispered, licking the spot I'd so roughly bitten just a moment before."At work. at home. out to dinner. in the car. I want to screw you into insensibility every time, make you crave me to the point of not knowing anything else but your lust for me. I want to plant my seed deep within that belly of yours, watch our child thicken your waist, your breasts swell with milk."She let out a wail, grasping my wrist as she arched up under me, thrumming towards her approaching orgasm. My teeth scraped her skin, and I fastened hungrily to her rigid nipple, biting gently.I wa

Sabrina sat in her atelier in the bright, sunny room, where the soft hum of the sewing machine filled the air as she delicately tried to work out all the fine details on her wedding dress. The silk shimmered under the golden rays of morning light as her hands ran across the texture, bringing a tranquil air into her heart. This dress had been a dream, a symbol of love and commitment, but for too long it had stayed incomplete in the whirlwind of chaos. Betrayal. Threats. Pain. The past had almost stolen this moment from her. But now, with Clara gone, the shadows that once loomed over their lives had finally lifted. It was time for happiness.Sabrina gazed up into the giant mirror in front of her, catching a glimpse of herself within it. That's beautiful, she thought finally. Elegant and simple, just like she's always wanted it: a wedding dress not just for the wedding but for a new beginning. She looked up to see Benedict leaning on the frame, arms crossed over his chest. Rain hit the hospital's glass windows, each drop reminding her that time was escaping her. Disinfectant and cold wind were the scents as Eliana stood stock-still in the hallway, her trembling hands clasped around the railing.Nathaniel Harper towered above her, his blue eyes veiled in desperation."You don't understand, Eliana. My dad—he's dead." His words were a growl, the words cutting through the air like the fine tooth of a blade.Eliana's swallow was concrete in her throat. "What do you mean?"Nathaniel sucked a rough breath into his chest, standing on the muscles in the back of his neck. "Vincent. My second. He's hunting me. Hunting you." His jaw hardened. "My father wants me to hurt. And he'll start with you."A chill ran through Eliana's body. As she thought about her answer, her ears picked up a voice that conquered the tension in the room.“I’d love to see him try Damian.”Damian Wolfe.Eliana had just time to see him leaning against the doorframe of the hospital room. The stillness of the hospital corridor had seemed so alien from the tempest of thoughts racing through Eliana's head. She sat with her elbows on her knees and fists clenched firmly together along the edge of a waiting-room chair. All this happened too suddenly yesterday.Damian Wolfe rested in his bed at the hospital, injured but recovering. Nathaniel Harper had defied his father and stood by her. And William Harper—cruel, killing, harsh—still existed, patiently waiting. She gasped sharply, trying to calm down. And then, in the midst of familiar quiet that was habitual, a voice interrupted."So… who's it going to be?"Eliana turned her head to look up at Sabrina Auburn looming over her, arms crossed, the wicked glint in her icy eyes.Eliana frowned. "What am I saying?"Sabrina chuckled, tilting her head to one side. "Come on, Eliana. I'm not dim. Nathaniel Harper stood in the dark of the hospital room, his fists clenched. The doctor had closed them into this small space, forcing them to confront each other in the intimate light of the bedside lamp.Years of their past hanging between them like a gauntlet.Damian spoke the first word softly."Trust you?" His voice was harsh, from pain and anger. "After all your family's done?"Nathaniel didn't blink. "I did not choose my name."Damian snorted with a bitter laugh. "No, but you damn well profited for years on it."Nathaniel's breath came harshly. "And now I'm suffering for defying it."Damian's glacial stare cut through him, searching for deceit. He was seeking to uncover a coward.A traitor. But what he did uncover instead?A man who'd lost everything.Nathaniel's voice lowered, a rough tone edging in. "William won't quit. You know that."Damian's jaw was locked. "Yeah. I know."Nathaniel paused, then moved closer. "Then let me help."Damian laughed. "Help? The last time I trust

There was an awe stricken silence that swept over the room.Sabrina's breathing, too, had ceased. "What?"Eliana's mouth was dry. "He planted the bomb at the convention. And when that didn't work, he tried to kill me. If not for Nathaniel and Damian." she broke off her voice,".I would not be alive."Benedict's expression turned cold. "That abomination."Saben wasn't swallowing it, however. He was cold with anger. "And we're doing this on his word? He's a Harper. His father attempted to kill you. And now we're going to accept his word that he defected from his father?"Nathaniel's voice cut across him, hard but controlled. "I'm not my father."Saben snarled, advancing as if to hit him. His own son—his own blood and flesh—had betrayed him.The treachery blazed hotter than the fires receding in the horizon."Shut up, Nathaniel," William snarled, striking his fist into the metal belly of the airplane.Seated across from him was one of his most dependable men, Marcus Steele, wiping blood from his mangled lip. "Sir, we should rethink. The Thompson family is not going away. They have money, they have connections—William's glare was toxic. "I don't care what they've got." Dead, deadly tone. "Eliana Thompson stole everything from us. And now my own son has the decency to be standing with her?"He spun on his pilot. "Faster. We have to get out of the city before the authorities surround it."Marcus hesitated before continuing. "Sir… Nathaniel can still be of some use. Maybe we could—"William pulled Marcus by the collar, dragging him towards him, inches from Marcus's face, his breath smelling of rage. "Nathaniel is dead to me. Hear me? The centuries' weight—of blood and greed and war—hung heavily in the air.William chuckled, spinning the glass of whiskey in his hands. "You think you're superior to me? Different?"He approached closer, his voice as icy as cold water. "You bear my blood. You can fight it all you can, but you'll never be anything else but my son."Nathaniel's jaw snapped shut. "Then I'll spend the remainder of eternity denying you."William's eyes blazed with something—disappointment? No, anger. He slapped the whiskey glass on the table, and it broke. The sound echoed through the big room. "Then you leave me no choice."Nathaniel stood up. "What do you mean? His father's face hardened, his own face hard and unyielding. "You want to be allied with the Thompsons? You can. The drive back to the Thompson estate was tense. Eliana was in the backseat, her thoughts racing with Nathaniel's threat."There's another attack coming. Tonight."Damian was beside her, his face a mask as he checked his gun twice. The atmosphere was tense, heavy.Eliana addressed him. "Do you think he meant it?"Damian didn't look up. "Does it matter?"She frowned. "Of course, it matters."."No, Eliana." He finally met her gaze, his tone tough but soft. "The thing is, we have to assume he's lying. Because if he is, and we don't act, people die."She didn't appreciate that he was right.Eliana breathed in, smoothing out her hair. "If his father is involved, he won't stop until he gets what he is after."Damian leaned into the seat. Nathaniel Harper did not look back when he left his father. Each step he made felt heavier, as though the burden of his family's transgressions was finally coming to catch up with him.He had spent his entire life attempting to validate himself before William Harper. Attempting to meet the standards of a man who regarded emotions as frailty, ethics as folly, and strength as the only concept worthy of consideration.Benedict Thompson stood before the fireplace, his fists gripping behind his back. The instant he discovered about the altercation at the commercial convention, he instructed for heightened security on the estate. He wouldn't let them have another attack.Sabrina sat facing him, her face set. "Are you certain about this, Benedict? Provoking them could create a greater problem."Benedict took a hard breath. "And doing nothing will leave us target practice. I won't sit idly by for that to happen."Wendy Taylor, Eliana's great-grandmother, struck her cane on the floor. "He's co
