Isabella’s POV

The silence in my room felt heavier than usual. Even with Julian gone, my mind refused to settle.

Noah’s words replayed in my head like a broken record. Then maybe stop making it look like you belong to someone else.

Possessiveness…….. Control.

I let out a slow breath, pressing my fingers against my temples. I should be focusing on the traitor.

On the danger creeping closer with every passing hour but instead, my thoughts were tangled with Noah’s anger, Julian’s warnings, and the unshakable weight of something I didn’t want to name.

I moved to the window, pushing aside the curtain. The city stretched below, glowing with life. A contrast to the darkness in my world.

Tomorrow, we find out who the mole is.

Julian’s words echoed in my mind, sending a chill down my spine.

The truth was, I wasn’t ready.

I had spent so much time playing a role—pretending to be something I wasn’t, balancing between deception and survival—that I almost forgot what it meant to truly be something.

Isabella’s POVThe moment Ryan confirmed the mole had taken the bait, the room erupted into motion. Julian was already at the door, his usual smirk replaced by a razor-sharp focus. Mateo pulled a gun from his waistband, checking the magazine with practiced ease. Caleb and Ryan exchanged a silent nod before moving toward the security feeds. And Noah? His hand closed around my wrist, pulling me back before I could follow. His grip was firm, his eyes burning into mine. “You don’t move unless I say so.” I yanked my arm free. “This was my plan. I’m not staying behind.” His jaw tightened, but before he could argue, Julian cut in. “We don’t have time for this. The mole could be bolting right now” Noah’s gaze flickered between us, conflict flashing in his eyes. Then, with a sharp exhale, he grabbed my hand and pulled me forward. “Fine. But you stay close.” The command was absolute, leaving no room for debate. We moved fast. Ryan stayed behind to monitor communications, track

Isabella’s POVThe moment Hennessy stepped into the dim light, the air in the room turned to ice. She was exactly as I remembered—sharp, calculated, her dark eyes glinting with a cruelty that made my skin crawl. The last time I’d seen her, she’d been bleeding out on the floor of a warehouse, Noah’s bullet in her gut. Now, she looked perfectly in control. And that terrified me. “You look surprised,” she purred, circling me like a predator sizing up wounded prey. “Did you really think I’d stay down after what you did?” I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to meet her gaze. “Guess I should’ve aimed for your head.” Hennessy’s smile didn’t waver. “Cute.” She stopped in front of me, her manicured nails trailing along my jaw. “But we both know you’re not the one who pulled the trigger.” Noah. She wanted Noah. And I was the bait. Liam leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching with a smirk. “Told you she’d be feisty.” Hennessy’s fingers tightened, her nails digging int

Noah’s POVThe night air burned in my lungs as we sprinted through the trees, putting distance between us and the estate. Blood trickled down my temple from Hennessy’s graze, but I barely felt it. Adrenaline was the only thing keeping me upright. Isabella’s hand was clamped around mine, her grip iron-tight. She didn’t speak, but I could hear her ragged breaths, could see the way her body trembled with every step. She was hurt. And it was my fault. We didn’t stop until the gunfire faded into the distance, until the only sound was the rustle of leaves and our own pounding hearts. I pulled her behind a thick oak, pressing her against the bark as I scanned the darkness. No movement. No pursuers. Yet. Isabella’s fingers dug into my arm. “Noah—your head—” I caught her wrist before she could touch the wound. “It’s nothing.” Her jaw clenched. “You’re bleeding.” “And you’re shaking.” She swallowed hard, her eyes darting back the way we’d come. “They’ll follow us.” “I

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 1

Isabella’s Pov The large ballroom was filled with expensive designer gowns and well-tailored suits. I looked around, nervous as I knew that I did not belong here. I clutch my dress as I move through the crowd, the girl's glares were like a dagger and their words were as sharp as a sword. “What is she doing here?” “Who is she…” “She looks…..simple..” “She looks poor.” I sighed and ignored them, blocking out the bitter and wagging tongue. I straightened my back with pride as I gripped the glass that held my champagne tight as I walked through the room, trying to blend in. My eyes ran through the room, looking for a savior who would save me from the impending doom that lurked around the corner. My art gallery was on its last thread. The legacy left behind by my father was just days away from being closed up, with an eviction notice and unsettled debts. This gala was my only chance to find some rich and caring enough to help or invest in my dream. That's when I spo

Isabella’s Pov As she walked away, Noah finally turned back to me. “You owe me,” he said simply. “For what?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “For saving you from being thrown out of here, for starters. And for covering for your little stunt.” “I didn’t ask you to do that.” “You didn’t have to,” he replied, his tone making it clear I wasn’t getting the last word. Before I could argue, he glanced around the room. “Here’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to keep up the act. For tonight, you’re my date. And in return, we’ll discuss your gallery.” My heart skipped a beat. “You’ll help me?” “Don’t get ahead of yourself,” he said. “I didn’t say yes. But I’m willing to listen—if you can play your part convincingly.” I stared at him, my mind racing. This wasn’t the plan. None of this was. But if pretending to be Noah’s date for one night meant saving the gallery, could I really afford to say no? “Fine,” I said, lifting my chin. “I’ll play along.” “Good.” He offered me

Noah’s pov “Who were you with last night!” my mum barged into my room, waking me up. “What time is it?” I grumbled as I hid my face under the pillow trying to block her out. “It is time for you to get out of bed and come down now,” she said and walked out of my room. I sighed as I got out of bed, picked up my robe, and walked downstairs. I could have completely ignored my mum but something told me that this was going to be an interesting morning. I got down to the living room to see my mum, my sister and of course, Hennessy all seated. Hennessey looked like she had been crying all night as her head lay down on my mum’s shoulder. I took a seat on the sofa at the far end of the living room. I turned and ordered the maid to get me a coffee. My assistant brought forward the business news for the day and I carried on with my morning like I wasn't called down. “Noah, are you going to ignore the question I asked you?” my mum said after a while. I drank my coffee and dropped it on th

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 4

Isabella’s POV My heels clicked against the polished floor as I followed Noah’s assistant down the hallway. The luxurious surroundings of J-Enterprises were far beyond anything I was used to, and I couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and intimidation but I kept my chin up, determined not to show any vulnerability. After all, this was my chance. The assistant stopped outside a large door, knocked lightly, and opened it. “Master Jack is ready to see you now,” she said with a polite smile, stepping aside to let me in. I squared my shoulders, took a steadying breath, and stepped into the office. “Noah,” I greeted, my voice steady despite the flurry of nerves in my stomach. He was already standing, his tall frame exuding authority and confidence as he walked around his desk. His dark eyes met mine, and for a moment, I felt like I was under a microscope. It wasn’t the first time Noah Jack had looked at me like that, but somehow it still made my heart skip a beat. “Isabella,” he said,

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 29

Noah’s POVThe night air was thick with tension, but not the kind that came from planning a trap for a traitor. No, this was something different. Something that burned in my chest every time I saw Isabella and Julian together.I leaned against the balcony railing, staring out into the darkness. Below, the city pulsed with life, oblivious to the war brewing in our world.I had barely closed my eyes since we got back. Sleep wasn’t an option when the woman who was supposed to be mine—even if only in name—was spending all her time whispering with Julian.I clenched my jaw, pushing the thought away. This wasn’t about jealousy…… It was about control.About keeping Isabella safe.Footsteps approached behind me. I didn’t need to turn around to know it was her.“We need to talk,” I said, my voice sharp.Isabella sighed, stepping beside me. “I figured you’d say that.”I finally turned to face her. Her arms were crossed, her expression guarded. Good. She knew what was coming.“You’re getting too

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 28

Isabella’s POVThe ride back from the docks was suffocating, the tension thick enough to choke on. The only sounds were the roar of the engine and the occasional shuffle of weapons being checked and reloaded. My pulse was still racing from the ambush, but my mind was sharper than ever.We had a mole. And they had nearly gotten us all killed.Noah was behind the wheel, his jaw tight as he maneuvered through the dimly lit streets. Julian sat in the front passenger seat, his grip on his gun unrelenting. In the back, Caleb, Ryan, and Mateo were silent, each lost in their own thoughts Or, perhaps, one of them was hiding something.I glanced at Julian. He hadn’t spoken since we got into the car, but his entire body was tense, coiled like a predator waiting to strike.“We need to talk,” I said, my voice low.Julian turned his head slightly, his sharp eyes meeting mine. “We’ll talk when we’re somewhere safe.”I folded my arms, refusing to back down. “Safe? Nowhere is safe until we find out wh

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 27

Isabella’s POVMorning arrived faster than I expected. Sleep had eluded me, my mind caught in an endless cycle of doubts, suspicions, and unanswered questions. I had spent half the night trying to unravel the puzzle that was Julian, but no matter how much I turned the pieces over in my mind, they never quite fit together.A part of me wanted to believe he was on our side—that his desire to take down Hennessy was genuine but trust was a luxury I couldn’t afford, not when I had already been burned too many times. As I stepped into the common area of the safe house, the air was thick with tension. The men were moving with purpose, gathering weapons, checking ammunition, and reinforcing the security measures we had in place.Today was the day—-We were setting the trap.Noah was already up, leaning over the table where a map of the city was spread out. His jaw was tight, his eyes scanning the markings we had made the night before. Julian stood nearby, arms crossed, watching him with a calc

Isabella’s POVThe silence in the room was suffocating, thick with tension and suspicion. Noah leaned against the desk, arms crossed, his sharp gaze flicking between Julian and me. Julian, the one who always have a smirk on his face, smirked as if he thrived on the tension.I, on the other hand, felt the weight of our situation pressing down on me like a vice.We had a mole and until we found out who it was, none of us were safe.I exhaled slowly. “We need to move carefully. If we start pointing fingers without proof, we’ll only tear ourselves apart from the inside.”Noah ran a hand through his hair, the lines of stress deepening on his face. “I know but whoever it is, they’re good. Hennessy knew our every move before we even made it. That means it has to be someone close. Someone we trust.”Julian’s eyes darkened. “Which means we need to feed them false information and see who bites.”I turned to him. “You have a plan?”He gave a slow nod. “I always have a plan but it’ll require sett
