Isabella’s POV

The next morning, I woke up feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. Today, I would finally be stepping outside after being cooped up in Noah’s penthouse for over a week.

I glanced at the clock—8:00 AM. Stretching my limbs, I forced myself out of bed and headed to the bathroom. After a quick shower, I dressed in a simple white blouse and high-waisted jeans. My silver hair was slightly damp, cascading down my shoulders as I ran a brush through it.

A knock on the door made me turn.

“Come in,” I called, expecting Joyce.

Instead, Noah strolled in, dressed in a crisp black suit, looking as effortlessly handsome as ever.

“Good morning, Sleeping Beauty,” he teased, leaning against the doorframe.

I rolled my eyes. “It’s eight in the morning, Noah.”

“Exactly. I expected you up an hour ago,” he said with a smirk. “Your new bodyguard has arrived.”

That got my attention. “Really?”

He nodded. “Come meet her.”

I followed Noah into the living room, where a tall, athletic-looking w

Noah’s POVThe moment I stepped into my office, the chaos hit me like a hurricane. My assistant, was practically vibrating with anxiety as she rushed toward me, phone in hand.“Mr. Jake, the media is relentless. Your PR team is already on it, but—”I held up a hand, cutting her off. “Not now.”Pushing open the door to my office, I strode inside and slammed it shut. I needed a moment to think. A moment to breathe. But there was no time for that.My phone vibrated on my desk, another call coming through. My jaw clenched as I saw Isabella’s name on the screen. My fingers hovered over the answer button before I exhaled sharply and picked up.“Noah,” her voice was small, shaken. “What is happening?”I pinched the bridge of my nose. “I’m handling it.”Her silence was deafening. I could hear the tremor in her breath before she finally spoke. “Is it true?”I shut my eyes. I knew what she was asking. I had read the reports, seen the headlines, listened to the whispered accusations that were no

Isabella’s POVI sat curled up on my couch, my fingers gripping my phone as I stared at the call log. Noah’s name sat at the top of the list, his last words still echoing in my mind.“You’re mine to protect, Isabella. And I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe.”A shiver ran down my spine, but whether it was from fear or something deeper, I couldn’t tell. The weight of the accusations against my father felt suffocating, like chains tightening around my throat. Was this really happening? Was my entire world unraveling before my eyes?I swallowed hard, my pulse pounding in my ears. My father had always been my hero—stern but fair, powerful but never cruel. The idea that he could have had a hand in my mother’s death was unthinkable and yet, the headlines screamed otherwise.A soft knock at my door made me jolt.“Miss Joe?” My housekeeper, Mrs. Patel, peeked her head in. “You haven’t eaten all day. Would you like me to bring something?”I forced a small smile. “Not right now. Thank

Noah’s POVI walked away from Isabella, my fingers tightening around my phone as I answered the call.“What?” I snapped.“The deal is falling apart,” my assistant voice came through the line. “Lang is making moves faster than we anticipated.”I turned slightly, my eyes flickering back to Isabella. She stood near the bar, her arms wrapped around herself, looking fragile but fierce. Hennessy had gotten to her, planted doubt in her mind. I couldn’t allow that.“Keep a close watch on her,” I ordered. “I’ll handle this.”I ended the call and took a deep breath before turning back to Isabella. Her gaze met mine the moment I approached, uncertainty swirling in those deep brown eyes of hers. She was questioning me.I had to fix this.“Noah,” she said softly as I stopped in front of her. “Tell me the truth. What aren’t you telling me?”Her vulnerability was like a blade to my chest. I reached for her hand, but she pulled back slightly, hesitation flickering in her expression.“Come with me,” I

Isabella’s POVNoah’s words sent a chill down my spine. Hennessy wasn’t just trying to manipulate me—she wanted revenge. But why? What exactly had happened between them?I clutched the glass of wine Noah had given me, my fingers tightening around the stem as I tried to steady my emotions. The flickering fire cast shadows across his face, highlighting the sharp angles of his jaw, the unreadable intensity in his dark eyes.“She wants to take everything from you?” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.Noah nodded, leaning back into the couch. “She’s been planning this for years. I underestimated her once—I won’t make that mistake again.”I turned to Noah, my mind racing. “What does she want now?”He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “She wants control—over me, over my empire. And she’ll use anything, anyone, to get it.” His eyes locked onto mine, dark and unyielding. “Including you.”A shiver ran down my spine. “Me?”“You’re my weakness, Isabella,” he admitted, his voice ro

Isabella’s POVThe sight of Julian Steele standing by the window sent a jolt of unease through me. His posture was relaxed, but there was something calculating in the way he observed us, his hands tucked into the pockets of his tailored suit. The city lights reflected against the glass, casting his face in a cold, sharp glow.Noah stiffened beside me, his grip on my hand tightening for a brief moment before he let go, stepping forward.“What the hell are you doing here, Julian?” Noah’s voice was calm, but I could sense the underlying tension.Julian turned, his piercing blue eyes landing on me before shifting to Noah. A smirk curved his lips. “Nice to see you too, cousin.”Cousin? Julian Steel, his biggest competitor and rival is his cousin?I blinked in surprise, glancing between them. Noah had never mentioned a cousin before, at least not one that was involved in his business.“I don’t have time for games,” Noah said, his tone laced with irritation. “If you came here for something,

Isabella’s POVThe night air was thick with tension as I followed Noah out of his office. His entire demeanor had shifted—his usual composed confidence now sharpened into something lethal, something unyielding.Julian’s warning still rang in my ears. You might be the key to all of this, but keys have a way of being broken when used too much.I clenched my fists. I wouldn’t be broken. Not by Hennessy, not by Julian, not by anyone.Noah’s team had already begun mobilizing. The conference room buzzed with urgency as men and women in sharp suits and earpieces murmured into their phones, coordinating movements I wasn’t yet privy to. The air smelled of coffee, cologne, and tension.Noah stood at the head of the table, exuding authority. “Hennessy is making her move sooner than we expected,” he said, his voice steady but sharp. “I need updates on her financial transactions, security reinforcements at all our locations, and I want surveillance on anyone connected to her.”His assistant, nodde

Isabella’s POVThe ride back was silent, thick with unspoken thoughts. Noah’s jaw was clenched, his fingers gripping the leather seat as if he were trying to ground himself. Julian’s words lingered in my mind—Hennessy isn’t just securing weapons. She’s securing alliances. If she was bringing in mercenaries, this wasn’t just a business war anymore. This was a battle for survival.I stole a glance at Noah. His expression was unreadable, but the tension in his shoulders told me everything. He wasn’t just thinking about how to counter Hennessy—he was preparing for war.The SUV pulled into the underground garage of Noah’s private estate. His security detail followed, their movements precise as they secured the perimeter. As soon as we stepped out, Noah turned to his assistant. “Get me a full report on Hennessy’s recent financial moves. • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 34

Noah’s POVThe night air burned in my lungs as we sprinted through the trees, putting distance between us and the estate. Blood trickled down my temple from Hennessy’s graze, but I barely felt it. Adrenaline was the only thing keeping me upright. Isabella’s hand was clamped around mine, her grip iron-tight. She didn’t speak, but I could hear her ragged breaths, could see the way her body trembled with every step. She was hurt. And it was my fault. We didn’t stop until the gunfire faded into the distance, until the only sound was the rustle of leaves and our own pounding hearts. I pulled her behind a thick oak, pressing her against the bark as I scanned the darkness. No movement. No pursuers. Yet. Isabella’s fingers dug into my arm. “Noah—your head—” I caught her wrist before she could touch the wound. “It’s nothing.” Her jaw clenched. “You’re bleeding.” “And you’re shaking.” She swallowed hard, her eyes darting back the way we’d come. “They’ll follow us.” “I

Isabella’s POVThe moment Hennessy stepped into the dim light, the air in the room turned to ice. She was exactly as I remembered—sharp, calculated, her dark eyes glinting with a cruelty that made my skin crawl. The last time I’d seen her, she’d been bleeding out on the floor of a warehouse, Noah’s bullet in her gut. Now, she looked perfectly in control. And that terrified me. “You look surprised,” she purred, circling me like a predator sizing up wounded prey. “Did you really think I’d stay down after what you did?” I clenched my jaw, forcing myself to meet her gaze. “Guess I should’ve aimed for your head.” Hennessy’s smile didn’t waver. “Cute.” She stopped in front of me, her manicured nails trailing along my jaw. “But we both know you’re not the one who pulled the trigger.” Noah. She wanted Noah. And I was the bait. Liam leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching with a smirk. “Told you she’d be feisty.” Hennessy’s fingers tightened, her nails digging int

Isabella’s POVThe moment Ryan confirmed the mole had taken the bait, the room erupted into motion. Julian was already at the door, his usual smirk replaced by a razor-sharp focus. Mateo pulled a gun from his waistband, checking the magazine with practiced ease. Caleb and Ryan exchanged a silent nod before moving toward the security feeds. And Noah? His hand closed around my wrist, pulling me back before I could follow. His grip was firm, his eyes burning into mine. “You don’t move unless I say so.” I yanked my arm free. “This was my plan. I’m not staying behind.” His jaw tightened, but before he could argue, Julian cut in. “We don’t have time for this. The mole could be bolting right now” Noah’s gaze flickered between us, conflict flashing in his eyes. Then, with a sharp exhale, he grabbed my hand and pulled me forward. “Fine. But you stay close.” The command was absolute, leaving no room for debate. We moved fast. Ryan stayed behind to monitor communications, track

Isabella’s POVThe air in the room felt charged, thick with unspoken words and barely contained fury. Julian tapped a few keys on the laptop, his smirk fading into a serious expression as he scrolled through the messages. The chat log was filled with coded exchanges, but one thing was clear—the mole had been feeding Hennessy information for weeks.Noah stood beside me, his muscles tense, his presence a storm waiting to break. “How far back do these messages go?” he asked, his voice sharp.Julian didn’t look up. “A month, maybe longer but there’s something else—” He enlarged one of the messages, his jaw tightening. “Hennessy is planning another attack.”My stomach twisted. “When?”Julian glanced at me, his blue eyes unreadable. “Tomorrow night.”The words sent a ripple of tension through the room. Caleb cursed under his breath, Ryan crossed his arms, and Mateo’s jaw clenched. Noah, however, remained eerily still, his focus locked on the screen.I swallowed hard. “Do we know where?”Jul

Isabella’s POVThe silence in my room felt heavier than usual. Even with Julian gone, my mind refused to settle.Noah’s words replayed in my head like a broken record. Then maybe stop making it look like you belong to someone else.Possessiveness…….. Control.I let out a slow breath, pressing my fingers against my temples. I should be focusing on the traitor. On the danger creeping closer with every passing hour but instead, my thoughts were tangled with Noah’s anger, Julian’s warnings, and the unshakable weight of something I didn’t want to name.I moved to the window, pushing aside the curtain. The city stretched below, glowing with life. A contrast to the darkness in my world.Tomorrow, we find out who the mole is.Julian’s words echoed in my mind, sending a chill down my spine. The truth was, I wasn’t ready.I had spent so much time playing a role—pretending to be something I wasn’t, balancing between deception and survival—that I almost forgot what it meant to truly be something.

  • BILLIONAIRE’S FAKE GIRL   Chapter 29

Noah’s POVThe night air was thick with tension, but not the kind that came from planning a trap for a traitor. No, this was something different. Something that burned in my chest every time I saw Isabella and Julian together.I leaned against the balcony railing, staring out into the darkness. Below, the city pulsed with life, oblivious to the war brewing in our world.I had barely closed my eyes since we got back. Sleep wasn’t an option when the woman who was supposed to be mine—even if only in name—was spending all her time whispering with Julian.I clenched my jaw, pushing the thought away. This wasn’t about jealousy…… It was about control.About keeping Isabella safe.Footsteps approached behind me. I didn’t need to turn around to know it was her.“We need to talk,” I said, my voice sharp.Isabella sighed, stepping beside me. “I figured you’d say that.”I finally turned to face her. Her arms were crossed, her expression guarded. Good. She knew what was coming.“You’re getting too

Isabella’s POVThe ride back from the docks was suffocating, the tension thick enough to choke on. The only sounds were the roar of the engine and the occasional shuffle of weapons being checked and reloaded. My pulse was still racing from the ambush, but my mind was sharper than ever.We had a mole. And they had nearly gotten us all killed.Noah was behind the wheel, his jaw tight as he maneuvered through the dimly lit streets. Julian sat in the front passenger seat, his grip on his gun unrelenting. In the back, Caleb, Ryan, and Mateo were silent, each lost in their own thoughts Or, perhaps, one of them was hiding something.I glanced at Julian. He hadn’t spoken since we got into the car, but his entire body was tense, coiled like a predator waiting to strike.“We need to talk,” I said, my voice low.Julian turned his head slightly, his sharp eyes meeting mine. “We’ll talk when we’re somewhere safe.”I folded my arms, refusing to back down. “Safe? Nowhere is safe until we find out wh

Isabella’s POVMorning arrived faster than I expected. Sleep had eluded me, my mind caught in an endless cycle of doubts, suspicions, and unanswered questions. I had spent half the night trying to unravel the puzzle that was Julian, but no matter how much I turned the pieces over in my mind, they never quite fit together.A part of me wanted to believe he was on our side—that his desire to take down Hennessy was genuine but trust was a luxury I couldn’t afford, not when I had already been burned too many times. As I stepped into the common area of the safe house, the air was thick with tension. The men were moving with purpose, gathering weapons, checking ammunition, and reinforcing the security measures we had in place.Today was the day—-We were setting the trap.Noah was already up, leaning over the table where a map of the city was spread out. His jaw was tight, his eyes scanning the markings we had made the night before. Julian stood nearby, arms crossed, watching him with a calc

Julian, the one who always have a smirk on his face, smirked as if he thrived on the tension.I, on the other hand, felt the weight of our situation pressing down on me like a vice.We had a mole and until we found out who it was, none of us were safe.I exhaled slowly. “We need to move carefully. If we start pointing fingers without proof, we’ll only tear ourselves apart from the inside.”Noah ran a hand through his hair, the lines of stress deepening on his face. “I know but whoever it is, they’re good. Hennessy knew our every move before we even made it. That means it has to be someone close. Someone we trust.”Julian’s eyes darkened. “Which means we need to feed them false information and see who bites.”I turned to him. “You have a plan?”He gave a slow nod. “I always have a plan but it’ll require sett
