Putting up a hand to stop him from getting ahead of himself, I went on to explain.
“This is for the children.”
The exuberant expression on Caleb’s face slightly dimmed.
“I do not believe in divorce, neither do my parents. And you already told me about your stand on this. So, for our children’s sake, let us try to make this work, hmmm?”
The light was back in his eyes.
