CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-NINE - STOP THE HIDE AND SEEK

Amanda POV

When we got off our high, I turned to him to ask languidly.

“I thought you left for work?” 

Adam, since the day he kidnapped me at the airport, had been coming home to me every night. He spends the night and makes love to me without saying anything. By morning, he would leave. 

We didn’t get back. He never implied anything to clarify what was happening between us, but I was hoping and dreading it, at the same time. 

Instead of replying to my question, Adam grunted and rolled off from me. Then, he settled on his back.

I watched him longingly and felt a pinprick of pain in my chest. 

So near, yet so far. 

Adam is like my moon. He was so near. I could almost touch him, but when I reached out my arms, he was unattainable. So far. 

Adam again rolled on the bed. Now, he was lying face down on the bed. His hand moved to my chest. I thought he would fondle my b*easts, bu
