Eleanor's p.o.v I waited patiently for his answer. When he burst out in laughter startling me, I took a step back. No, that lord was reserved, there was no way he was the one. Eleanor's p.o.v I ran as quickly as I could, looking back a few times to make sure no one had seen and followed me. When the demon king left the room, I took it as my chance to run away. Although I knew nothing about the place, finding the border and exit wasn't going to be hard because a lot of warriors who tried to enter the demon kingdom found it easily. The only guilt I felt was because I went against the lord's suggestion and plan of helping me out.
