Bright's p.o.v

I raised my hands in surrender when

Conner raised his sword to my throat.

"I surrender," I whispered Softly.

"I figured." He answered with pride.

Thinking back to how we came here made me want to whine.

It was very late at night yet the camp was so noisy because it was Wednesday.

Conner was struggling to sleep, and I too was getting annoyed at the loud screams and moans coming from both the women and the warriors being intimate. It was also becoming awkward for the three of us who lay in our tent just listening.

When an idea popped into my mind I quickly sat upright and asked him to go out with me to train for a bit.

At first, he was about to refuse but later changed his mind and grabbed his sword and another wooden sword for me.

We carefully sneaked out of the camp and went to the back alley of some buildings which he was certain no one used at night because they were scared of the stories they had heard about the place
