Chapter 105

Ashley's POV

I was just starting to fall asleep when I heard the door open.

What is it now! I almost cussed as I rose up. It was past dawn already and I'd thought I could get some sleep later .

A familiar figure showed up before me and my dreamy eyes cleared up immediately.

"My Prince…" I muttered, my heart skipped a beat as I recognised the person standing before me. It was Prince Regan, he looked like he had an urgent matter to attend to. He wasn't in his wheelchair. He was using his crutches and I wondered.

"Why didn't you tell me the truth?" He said and my heart sank. My speculation was right, he had found out that I was the thief and he is here to deal with me in his own way.

With trepidation, I began to move backwards, thinking and calculating. When my back hit the wall, I shuddered waiting for him as he limped towards me.

"Why did you have to go through hell without breathing out the truth?"

His words took me by surprise, but I still did not lose my guard.
