Episode 2

EPISODE 2 : AFTER SCHOOL PARTY

Mr. Keith, our driver, took Ava and me home. Ava had plans on not returning as early as we did; she was only forced because this makes our father upset when he finds one daughter home and the other one missing.

"Good afternoon, daddy!". .

I shut the door after me and ran to the chair of my father. He is sitting on his rocking chair while he welcomes us back from the academy.

"How was school? Everything good?"..

He caressed my cheeks and used his other hand to pull Ava closer.

"How are you, dear?" Dad asked her. He knows how emotional she gets whenever I get the daughterly treatment from our father.

"Good, thanks!".

Ava's removed dad's hand and cold walked away to her bedroom..

I wanted to go after her, but Dad pulled my hand and forbade me; he didn't want an argument to happen, and this shouldn't be the first time Ava and I had gone into a disagreement, and it was because of her cold and distant behavior toward our dad.

Our mom is no more, and Dad has always tried his best to give us the life we deserve while playing the role of a mother to his daughters.

I changed out of my school uniform and came downstairs to have something for lunch. Dad's out for work, and he has left Ava and me under the careful watch of Mrs. Benita.

She's our loving and caring Nanny that has stayed with us since I can remember; without her, Dad may have lost his goddamn mind.

"Good afternoon, Nanny.".

I sat down on the chair and smiled right at her.

"Good afternoon, Ada.".

Nanny brought out two plates; she kept one close to me and the other opposite.

"Isn't your sister coming down for lunch?"

She dishes my food. Her infamous mushroom soup.

"I don't know, maybe?".

I responded, and then Ava came downstairs.

She's dressed in her two pieces, like she was about to head out to somewhere or a party no one knows about. .

"Ava, please have a seat and eat something.".

Nanny served her on her plate and also pulled out a chair.

"No, Nanny, don't worry, I'll be eating out.".

She replied, and she also took out her red lipstick.

"Please inform Dad, okay?".

She thumps up and leaves.

Nanny wants me to go after my sister, and I have not even started eating. Must Ava literally ruin everything, including my meal?

Ava reluctantly agreed that I would accompany her to the party she left the house for. The car stopped by a huge mansion, and my sister majestically walked in, and I was abandoned.

"Nice!!!".

There were already two people making out on the front porch with little or no clothes on because I could see the girls boobs and that of that guy's dick.

"Ava!! Do we really need to be here??".

I walked to my sister and asked her.

"Be here?. You don't, Ada, but I do."

She slapped my face and tapped out.

I don't choose to be, and if our nanny hadn't forced me, I should be home, sleeping in my warm blankets.

I made sure not to step on anyone's dancing feet. But I was intrigued to see Susa at the same party dancing with some boys.

"Wow! You are such a good dancer.".

I said, making a funny face...

"Oh my god! You came?" She opened her arm, pushing for a hug, but withdrew again. "Wait! Did you also come with Ava?? You came because of her, didn't you?". She asked; her question is more of a warning for what happened last time.

There is something Ava and I have.

And that is "twin powers." I know whenever she is in danger, and she should as well sense those twin powers between us.

Nevertheless, I pray she doesn't do anything stupid tonight, and I should be able to go by this night without having to save her and refrain from having one of my many episodes.

"Hey girls! Do you want a drink?".

Daniel offers Susa and I bottled beer.

"Aww!" Susa drools, and she immediately forgets about me.

She almost left with Daniel, but Ava sure had good timing as she stopped her.

"Ava, how are you, girl?"

Susa has always had this fear for Ava, which I can tell is becoming part of her.

"Ada, please tell your friend to hand off my boyfriend!".

She smacked her hands, preventing Daniel's hand from swaying back and forth. It was like he was going to run away anytime soon, and Ava wouldn't want that to happen.

"I'm sorry, Ava; I'll definitely speak with my friend."

I pull Susa away from Daniel's path.

Ava's eyes rolled at both of us as she hurried away, her arms not letting go of her boyfriend.

"That's something strange with your sister.".

Susa disclosed to me that her eyes were filled with worry.

"Yeah! She's a jerk, and sometimes I want to kill her."

I growled, and I was angrily walking away when she brought me back.

"Hold on, Ada," she paused, "you're not understanding me.". .

"Understand you? What are you saying? Is this one of your great assumptions, or are you just afraid of my bullying sister?".

I pack my hair above my shoulder, smiling.

"No Ada! I'm sorry to say this... But I can sense something changing in Ava, and it is not good.". .

She left me with those words, and that causes me to worry. What is changing in Ava aside from the fact that she's selfish?

Susa stayed by my side during the progress of the party; everyone seemed to be having fun apart from my boring self and being accompanied by my best friend.

"Do you not want to have fun?".

I noticed her motivation to join the others on the dance floor.

"Nah! I'm good.". She looks away, attempting not to look back at the same kids having a lot of crazy fun, from dancing to drinking, and a lot might as well have sex.
