I walk into the restroom. I strip naked.

I switch on the warm shower to enjoy a soothing soak.

After bathing, I walk into the bedroom and over to my standing mirror, my emerald towel wraps around my body.

I’m unwell and stressed out. I take off my towel and let it fall to my feet since I’m getting hot in the core. As I keep on creasing myself, my nipple hardens.

“What exactly is wrong with me?” I inquire of my wolf.

“You’re going into heat. Our mate is the only one who can help you. We should go to him,” my inner wolf's urge.

“Never. I won’t,” I state, clasping my hands. “I’m still upset about what occurred between us. It was not done on purpose. Everything is because of the booze and the mating bond. All I need is a cold shower,” I fought back.

“You’re not serious, Mia. Please, let’s go to mate,” my wolf begged. “You’ve been bathing since the morning without relieving yourself.”

“We can’t,” I grumble.
