Ava's perspective.

My mate unexpectedly shows up when I'm having fun with Mia and Joy. He looks down at me. A joyous and satisfied look fills his eyes. He pulls me into a tight embrace and whispers, "I miss you, my love."

He grabs my neck and slides his lips over my neck. Joy and Mia exchange glances, before Mia turns away, a knowing smile on her lips. Joy clears her throat nervously, obviously uncomfortable with the intimate display.

"Chester, what are you doing?" I ask. "Don't you see people here watching us?"

He pulls back and grins. "I'm just showing you how much I care, that's all." He says dismissively. A confused air fills the air as Joy and Mia exchange glance again.

"My queen, I want you so much. I mean right now," he whispers in my ear. His lips brush against my ear, sending chills down my spine. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and I know I can't resist him any longer.
